Qualifications
2010-Present phD in Computer Science (present)

Technical University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain. The origins for this work arise in response to the increasing need for biologists and doctors to obtain tools for visual analysis of data. When dealing with multidimensional data, such as medical data, the traditional data mining techniques can be a tedious and complex task, even to some medical experts. Therefore, it is necessary to develop useful visualization techniques that can complement the experts criterion, and at the same time visually stimulate and make easier the process of obtaining knowledge from a dataset. Thus, the process of interpretation and understanding of the data can be greatly enriched. Thesis: Integration of data mining techniques with advanced visualization techniques. Research fields: Visual Analytics, Data Mining, Evolutionary Computation, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, Dimensionality Reduction.

2010-2012 M. Sc., Advanced Computing for Science and Engineering

Technical University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain. The Master in Advanced Computing for Science and Engineering provides the needed training for different fields of science and many engineering specialties. This need arises to support multidisciplinary field of science and based-engineering simulation and specifically, in the modeling, simulation and analysis tools for achieving this. In this line, computational science and engineering demand increasingly better trained staff in these techniques. Its importance is such that the simulation capability is ascribed to be comparable to the experiment and theory in the development of modern science. Master thesis: MedVir 3D Visual Interface Applied to Gene Profile Analysis. Research fields: Data Mining, Evolutionary Computation, Optimization algorithms, Bioinformatics.

2008-2010 M. Sc., Computer Graphics, Virtual Reality and Videogames

Rey Juan Carlos University, Madrid, Spain. The overall aim of the Master is to provide a quality and current training on Graphics, Games and Virtual Reality, both technological and methodological aspects of implementation. This training will provide the graduates the training that increasingly demand sector companies, given the growth being experienced worldwide this branch of computer science. Master thesis: Interactive Simulation of a Deformable Hand for Haptic Rendering. Research fields: Virtual Reality, Interaction Human-Machine, Haptics Devices, Tracking Devices, Computer Graphics, Numerical simulation, Physics.

2003-2007 B. Sc., Technical Engineering in Computer Systems

University of Crdoba, Crdoba, Spain. Final Dissertation: SiCaVi Simulador de Cargas de Viento. Research fields: Structures Theory and Mathematics.
