A lightening system is required for indoor living walls. Outdoors, this
lightening system only has an ornamental purpose.

Technical space:
A place for a tank (at the base of the living room or in other position)
and hydraulic and monitoring equipment is also necessary. The
dimensions of these premises depends on the area required for each
equipment.

System dimensions: Active systems add a ventilation chamber to the living wall
between 40 and 80 cm deep, depending on the system selected. If integrated with
the air conditioning system, room for pipe connections must be considered. The BIOFILTER AIR

rest of the requirements are similar to those for passive systems.

Service connections: The same connections as for passive systems are required.
In facilities combined with the building’s air conditioning system, the connection with
the ventilation conducts must be prepared depending on the operation schedule
selected. Indoors, the AALW can be autonomous, not attached to the ventilation
system.
