OVERVIEW - "THE VEDIC DHARM AND MODERN SCIENCE" (By Er./Dr.

. Tanmay , B-340 Lok Vihar Pitampura, Delhi 110034. Ph : 0091-011-47093148)

The worlds ancient most religion was researched by a large group of scholars (noble laureates) consisting of eighty eight thousand in number. This group worked for a very very long time as a tradition and was known as Shaunak The chair person of this group was called sootjy (a person of very high calibre and of super spiritual talent). These rishis (Scientists seldom preferred to mention their names. The researches were verified by number of Maharishies and Brahm Rishis, therefore it was declared as the WORD of GOD

The researches comprised of subjects concerning various fields of human life and the universe. Briefly, following heads can be mentioned:

Laws of creation, sustenance and destruction.

Natural laws e.g sathya, Tapas, Selfless duty and Daan, Law of Karma, Law of opposite/complementarity

Law of Heaven/hell, Law of motion/Changeability/Rebith., Law as you think, so you become, Law as the Microcosm so the Macrocosm etc.

Spiritual science.

Arts, Literature, music, dance, commerce, economics and so on.

Material sciences e.g Physics, Astro Physics, Quantum Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Relativity Astrology, Astronomy and so on.

Like modern times, masses used these material sciences for earning exorbitant money and enjoying maximum sensual pleasures. Thus the society automatically took a shape of Money Oriented one. This resulted in increase of Infinite number of physical and mental ailments, enormous crimes, violence and restlessness in the society. Rishis then founded the Mokshha Oriented Society instead of Money Oriented one. Thus they created a disciplined society.

At the advent of Vedic period, to attain Mokshha, the Rishis under strict celibacy and other auster disciplines used the pure scientific prayer technique known as Monotheism (Adwait). In Adwait principle, it was accepted, that human spirit is same as God, Here therefore, only four mantras were repeated till death, leading to total merger in ultimate God. The mantras are: 1 Aham Brahmasmi 2. Ayam Atma Brahm 3. Soham 4. Tatwamasi. While founding the Mokshha Oriented Society they prayed for divine help for leading every one of us to eternal truth, the source of light and immortality. They also prayed for the happiness and wellbeing of every one as well as freedom from delusion of world of matter (Maya). The Salokas are given at the end of the text.

All such great ideologies projected the Vedic Dharm as of Wholesome view, universal and true for all three periods of time. This scenario belongs to Sathya Yuga.

Time changed and population increased. The masses got attracted more towards the world of matter (Maya). Hence, Risihis through Gayatri researched the Principle of Iconisation and Scientifically designed the gods and goddesses based on their tendencies. The tendency of each godforce was reflected through their specific colour frequency. These colours lie within the Electromagnetic spectrum. Thus, the Rishis planned to fulfill worldly desires of the people and then gradually pushed them to higher evolution and finally to liberation and salvation in few incarnations. They also, to attract the masses, but without teaching them material sciences and to lead to divinity, amalgamated scientific facts into Arts and Literature i.e engulfed science into myths, allegories, metaphors, poetic images and so on. Thus, the revised prayer technique was known as Dwait i.e here God was considered superior than the spirit and some relationship between God and spirit i.e father and son, lord and servant were assumed. The masses of the whole world accepted this technique being simpler and applauded heartly.

The Rishis thus succeeded in implementing the ideology of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam (Whole world is one family). Consequently the demarcation lines dividing the mother earth known as Nations faded away and Sanatan Dharm prevailed all over the world for hundreds of years.

Time further changed and due to wrong interpretations of Vedic injunctions, new religions cropped up. Due to loss of understanding of wholesome view of Vedic Dharm/Sanatan Dharm and serial invasions from West Asia and Europe, the infrastructure of Vedic Dharm/Sanatan Dharm collapsed and scattered into pieces. In the book The Vedic Dharm and Modern Science efforts have been made to assemble the broken links and explain them in terms of Modern Science.

It is hoped that scientific world will accept the challenge and take up the matter for open debate to restore peace and global brotherhood. May this happen soon.

Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu niramaya, Sarve Bradrani pashyantu, Maa kaschid dukh bhag bhavait, Astro maa sadgamaye, Tasmo maa jyotir gamaye, Mrityor maa amritam gamaye. About the Book The

Way To Perfect Health

There is a saying that disease free body is the straight road to happiness. The Ayurveda defines the meaning of perfect health. The person who remains always established in the self (Atma). The book The Way To Perfect Health leads us to the higher realm of that knowledge as defined in Ayurveda.

The main theme of the book is that every disease is caused due to the pollution of mind. Mental pollution accumulated in the subconscious under specific conditions converts into physical ailments in infinite forms.

The book gives a Scientific and comparative study of number of therapies now in vogue and leads us to the knowledge to attain the perfect health. It tells us as to how the roots of diseases lying hidden in the sub-conscious can be annihilated and the man can become free from the bonds of Karma.

The book is a must for every one.

OUR HIGHLIGHTS
1. Law of Karma What you sow, so you reap is the well know proverb.

The law of Karma is the supreme law within the frame work of the divine constitution. Whole universe is governed under this law. There is not a single entity, which can escape from it. This has been explained in terms of modern Science in the book. Let us take a simple example of a plant/tree. Every plant/tree bears a fruit and the seed is hidden inside the fruit. As the seed reproduces another plant/tree similarly all deeds performed during ones life time form an electronic capsule at the time of death and specific frequency remains inherent in it. This electronic capsule is carried forward and generates new life or yoni. This capsule acts as destiny and frequency generates varieties of events in the next birth. Like a full tree growing blooming and bearing further fruits, new events consist of enormous number of pains and pleasures. Thus every being goes on moving through infinite cycle of life and death. 2. Devasur Sangram (Fight between deities and demons)

The Rishis in the state of Samadhi (Trance) saw the total view of events happening in the space for one full Kalpa (1 Kapla=4.32x109 solar years). They saw that there are two kinds of particles constantly fighting. First kind are those which favour the forces of creation and sustenance ie (deities=Sur) whereas others are engaged in destruction ie (demons=Asur). The constant fight is translated on mother earth in the forms of fighting, quarreling, violence and bloodshed. The humanity thus suffers in number of ways including restlessness and mental agony. To minimize the sufferings caused due to such events, the Rishis have worked out several plans.

3. Natural Laws:

The Rishis first planned a disciplined society whose basic goal was fixed as salvation/liberation. To achieve the above goal the society was set to follow Natural laws that is, a) Sathya b) Tapah c) Selfless duty (Yajna) and d) Daan (Alms giving)

4. Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam:

But before achieving the highest goal of life, each individual must first be satisfied at material plane. This means that every one should be provided with the minimum needs of life e.g. Bread, clothing, housing, education and respect before he can think of God or begin with any kind of religious practice. Thus they made it compulsory for every individual and the state to see that

1.

No body remains poor, hungry and diseased

2.

they further designed such technique, so that no human being shall fall to lower yoni (Species) and after death must adopt human form only. The object was that he continues to tread the path towards liberation/salvation and after persistent efforts completes his journey as early as possible or after few incarnations goes across death

In order to achieve the above goal, it is absolutely essential, that there has to be

1.

one religion b) one culture c) one language and d) one ideology, so that there occurs no difference of opinion enmity and blood shed. To attain the object of single religion they designed such courses of Religion, which could suit the people of all class, category and calibre ranging from kindergarden to the phd lavel. (Refer articleSanatan Dharm through Scientific eye). They designed such cultural canvas, which could be flexible and befitting to people of every region whether hilly, snowy or desert areas. Due to whole some view of life or vision of totality the infrastructure of Sanatan Dharm became so vast that there was hardly any necessity for any other religion to appear on the global screen. Thus they got inspired from the greatest and noblest idea known as:

Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam (The whole world is one family) and the target was set out for the ultimate welfare of the entire humanity. The slogan Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu niramaya Sarve Bhadrani Pashyantu, Maa Kas Chid dukh Bhagbhavait emerged from the hearts of the Rishies.

This greatest and the noblest idea thus resulted in fading away the artificial demarcation lines drawn on the mother earth known as Nations. This is how Sanatan Dharm prevailed as a single religion on the whole globe for several hundred years.

5. Science of symbolism has been propounded by rishi vishwamitra through Gayatri mantra. Thus the formless Brahman and varieties of god forces have been personified and brought within the realm of human perception. Following this research the Vedic literature has been written in the language of symbols. The symbols are normally used in mathematic and science. This is how the vast literature has been crated by vedic rishis known as Sanatan Dharm.

6. The facts of science have been skillfully interwoven into Arts and Literature making a strong traditional and cultural covering for protection of Dharma. This created the wholesome and immortal knowledge, so as to convey smoothly to the following generations. Our Institute has made efforts to decode and segregate the material sciences inherent into beautiful mythologies created by the rishis.

7. (a) The formation of the Soul (Jeevatma) and the galaxy (Akash Ganga0 is similar. This is also known as Antah-Karan, subtlebody and Kundalini.

(b) The spirit and Brahman reside inside the seven material layers and both are similar. The law so discovered by the rishis, is known As the microcosm, so the macrocosm. This law is so vast, that it leaves behind all modern theories. This is the greatest research ever known to the mankind. The book explains this law in terms of Modern Science.

8. The salvation (Mokshha) and liberation (Mukti) have been explained in terms of physics. A number of techniques have been discussed to attain these. The Methodology to , (a) lead a healthy and happy life, (b) have a painless death and (c) attain moksha thereafter, are some of the important and vital points explained in terms of science.

9. The rishis version of creation, that it never started has been observed as rational rather than big-bang theory. One hundred billion galaxies, say mythically the gop-gopies are dancing and circling around the dark-matter, the Lord Krishna. Thus there is a constant Maharaas taking place on the platform of the universe, the vrindaban and not that galaxies are flying away to unknown distances. This is how science has been intrinsically enwrapped into Arts and Literature. For the benefit of the common man this fact of science has been translated on the ground at Vrindaban. Say it is live representation.

SECTION ONE
Main Characteristics
The book The

Vedic Dharm and Modern Science has been written as a result of elaborate study and

research, therefore it has several special features. These have been taken from various scriptures and compared with the modern science. Few of them are ...............Srimad

Bhagwad Geeta, Upnishads, Mahabharat, Balmiki Ramayana, Ramcharit Manas, Srimad Bhagwat Mahapuran, Shiv Puran, Patanjali Yog Sutra, Prateek Vigyan, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Allopathy, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Physics, Astrophysics, Astronomy and Cosmology etc.
Since religion is a complex subject, hence its blending with science has made it more difficult. As we are living in the era of material sciences, which are based on analysis, evidence and rational thinking, therefore these have been deliberated at length in this book

so that the reader may conveniently take advantage of important aspects as briefed below:maintaining perfect harmony with Sanatan Vedic Dharm. The book contains nine chapters and ten essays,

The Natural Laws:- God has framed specific laws to carry out the function of creation, sustenance and annihilation by the
nature. The same are strictly followed by her.

Symbolisation of godforces inherent in Nature and the wicked tendencies of human beings:- The principle of iconisation and symbolisation has been invented by Rishi Vishwamitra through Gayatri
Mantra. In modern terms this is similar to Digital technology. Through iconisation technique, a simpler method of worship of God and godforces i.e. Sagun Sakar technique of upasana has been evolved. This has paved the way to attain victory over the wicked tendencies of human nature. Exploring this scientific technique, in the field of religion is unique in itself.

Accounting of sinful and pious deeds: - The accounting of sinful and pious deeds is carried out very minutely
by the human sub-conscious through the recording of life events. By sinful acts the level of Prana is diminished and frequency lowered, whereas by pious deeds the Prana level is raised and the frequency is also increased.

Decision of future yoni and the cycle of life and death: - The total events (noble or wicked) of
human life convert into memories and at the time of death these memories form a specific tendency or a dominating colour. This colour decides the yoni (form of next birth). So long as there is a single memory left in the human sub-conscious, the cycle of life and death keeps on moving.

Creation of universe: - The creation is without beginning. It has neither been created at any time nor it will be totally
annihilated. The creation and annihilation of some galaxy/ galaxies keeps on going and such activities are the conversion of electro magnetic waves from higher frequency to lower frequencies and vice-versa.

Dharm: - In nature, there is everywhere discipline, (Austerity) truthfulness, selfless service and giving of alms. This is exactly
what Dharm means.

Object of Vedas: - Living healthy and happy life, attain painless death and salvation after death are the objects of human
life preached by Vedas. These can be achieved through the implementation of Rishi-Tantra.

Main Essays: - It is hoped that the Scientific discussion given in part III of the book shall be helpful in wiping away several
blind faiths prevailing in the society.

Homoeopathy: - Potentised homoeo remedies can bring complete cure and restore perfect health. This has been discussed
at length in the book.

SECTION TWO
Salient features

The whole universe is a single unit. It approximately comprises of hundred billion galaxies. These galaxies have been found in three shapes (a) Spiral (b) Elliptical and (c) Irregular. Each galaxy contains nearly hundred billion stars. According to Rishis each galaxy has a specific time cycle. Our milky way is a Spiral galaxy, which is one lac light year in diameter. The life cycle of our milky way is 31,10,40 x 10 solar years. Our solar family is the member of this milky way. (b) There are trillions and trillions of energy

particles raining from each galaxy. Some of them are in favour of creation and sustenance, whereas others are constantly engaged in destruction. This has been known as Devasur Sangram i.e. the war between deities and demons. It appears, that the bloodshed caused on mother earth is the translation of the ECHO transmitted by these events in space through planetary system. Thus this is the unending cycle of creation and destruction performed by the formless Almighty behind the curtain.

A large group of scientists (Rishis) consisting of 88,000 (eighty eight thousand) in number studied through Samadhi the knowledge relating to every field including the laws of creation, sustenance and annihilation of the universe. (b) This knowledge comprised of number of material sciences, Arts and literature including Cosmology, Astro-physics, Relativity, Quantum-mechanics and Quantum-physics etc. And like modern times the masses used the physical sciences for earning maximum money and enjoying maximum sensual pleasures. Thus the social structure automatically took a shape of money oriented one. This resulted in increase of infinite number of physical and mental ailments, enormous crimes, like drug trafficking, looting, robbery, murders, violence etc. The society was then filled with extreme pain, agony and restlessness. The people started crying and prayed for divine help. (c) This happens at the fag end of every civilization. Mass destruction of any civilization takes place between three to five thousand of years either through natural calamities or through total war. It appears that this is a repetitive cycle as is evident from two universal epics i.e. Mahabharata and Ramayana.

In the initial stage, the Rishis design a Mokshha Oriented Society and introduce a system of prayer, which is based on the principle As the microcosm, so the macrocosm. This is the pure scientific methodology and is known as Adwait (Monotheism), which means that the individual soul is equal or same as the collective soul i.e. God. This prayer is for formless God and is based on

meditating upon four mantras i.e. Tatwamasi, Soham, Ayam Atma Brahm and Aham Brahmasmi. This leads the Sadhaka to the total merger with God i.e. (Mokshha).

Subsequently the population increases and the common man turns more towards the materialistic world, hence he can not be linked with formless technique of prayer. Realizing this difficulty of the masses, Rishis then work out a system where masses while enjoying worldly happiness can also attain liberation (Mukti). This new system brings into practice the prayer technique based on :symbols researched through GAYATRI. Thus the formless God is brought within the range of human senses. This technique of prayer is known as Dwait which means, that the individual soul is not equal to collective soul i.e. God. Hence, it is practised assuming some relationship with God e.g. master-servant or father-son etc. (b) In order to achieve both goals i.e. Mukti and Mokshha, the Rishis bring into more techniques of yoga to suit every class of people. The other yoga techniques besides Sankhya yoga are selfless duty i.e. Nishkam Karm or yajna; Patanjali yoga and Bhakti yoga etc. Since Shrimad Bhagwadgeeta (10/10;7/1 and 9/1-2) and all other Vedic scriptures have declared Intellect' and Buddhi Yoga as the supreme of all, hence keeping the scientific facts in mind and with an object of transmitting the spiritual knowledge upto the common man, the Rishis then work out a scheme of amalgamating the scientific knowledge with the arts and literature, which like the pulp and the juice supporting the seed of a grape comprises of myths, symbols, poetic images, allegories, similies and metaphors. In other words, it is the combination of mind (emotions), intellect (scientific facts) and chitta (gyan or sanskars). These three together create the wholesome picture and makes the knowledge interesting and easily comprehensible to every class of people because this way Sathyam (Scientific or eternal truths) has been engulfed by Sundaram (Poetry arts, music, myths etc.), therefore such literature not only projects the holistic view, but also proves Shivam (beneficial for both class of people i.e. Faith and Reasoning class). Puranic literature is an excellent example of this kind. The concept of wholesome knowledge of Vedas is the most difficult aspect, hence at no period of history except perhaps during Sathya-yuga, the people could digest Vedic ideologies in totality. Since the Rishis wanted to give priority to establishing an ideal of wholesome knowledge and provide worldly happiness as well to the masses and ultimately lead them to divinity, therefore, they decided to take the heavy risk of amalgamating the eternal laws with Arts & Literature. They knew that Sathyam (eternal truths) can not bestow worldly happiness to the people and amalgamation will lead to profound controversies, confusion and skepticism, yet it is essential as the two together go hand in hand to form the integral whole. In light of the above facts and for want of knowledge of the physical sciences, the literal meanings alone are known to the preachers and the masses, which at times cause misunderstanding, confusion and fanaticism. Our institute has, therefore, decoded Puranic Stories in terms of modern science. (b) During long passage of time, the Vedic knowledge had to face several blows, hence the wholesome knowledge had scattered into pieces, which our institute has tried to assemble in the book form titled as The Vedic Dharm and Modern Science.

The godforces are all electro magnetic vibrations of different wavelengths and amplitudes. Hence these are subtle, formless and invisible. Therefore to understand and explain them to the common man, these forces have been visualized in the human form based on their tendencies. Since there is the law As you think, so you become, therefore if the Sadhaka meditates on their symbols, then he develops the characteristics of that force in himself and on perfection merges with that godforce. Several such techniques have been discussed in terms of science. SECTION THREE

Important Issues

Need for Scientific book on Religion: Since long blind faith and fanaticism have been prevailing all over the world for want of correct understanding of the basic inherents in religions. On account of the ignorance coming down the generations, social evils become

the part of religions. Science has motivated the people of the whole world to think in broader perspective. Since the founding of the Institute a programme of Gyan-Vigyan has been chalked out to propagate scientific religion. This book is an effort in that direction. After reading the book, it is hoped, that the modern generation having the analytical thinking and open mind shall appreciate the scientific aspect of Dharm defined in Srimad Bhagwad Geeta and Upnishads and the other ancient Indian scriptures.

Research on Vedic Dharm: - God created this universe and bestowed the human beings with highest intellect. Man can analyse every phenomenon created by Him and can explore God too. It is a matter of pride, that great amount of work has already been done by the Rishis in ancient times. Modern science is gradually confirming the Rishis versions. Special Features of Vedic Dharm: Vedic Dharm and culture are wholly based on eternal laws and principles of nature. Both of these have been explained from session two to session nine. In the first session, the main characteristics of Dharm have been explained.

Subtle-World: - The miraculous subtle world existing in the Macro is the main subject discussed in session number seven. At the end, the summary of all the sessions, simpler techniques of attaining God, Lord Krishnas final verdict to Arjuna and the last prayer of a dying soul have been highlighted. On careful examination of this composition, it can be stated that this book, infact is a holy scripture in terms of modern science.

The Sceptics: - The answers to a number of doubts arising in the minds of the modern generation such as :- (1) How Sri Ganesh with big belly and elephant head can travel on a mouse (2) What is the meaning of Brahma born from the navel of lord Vishnu (3) How the demon having ten heads and twenty arms should be sleeping on his sides etc.

The Transition period of history: - Adjustability with time, local conditions and calibre of the masses has been the inherent and basic quality of Vedic Dharm. Hence, suitable amendments could be made in it with changing times. During Treta Yuga Rishi Vishwamitra propounded the principle of symbolism. Consequently the prayer technique was changed from formless God to God with a definite form. In Dwapar Yuga Rishi Ved Vyas advocated the selfless duty by writing Srimad Bhagwad Geeta and guided the people of Kaliyuga through Purana(s), the path of devotion (love) alongwith Daan (alms giving).

Protection of Vedic Dharm: - Four hundred years ago Guru Govind Singh versified the Vedic philosophy in simple language and composed Guru Granth Sahib for the masses, which included the preachings of great saints of that time. During the same period another great saint & poet Goswamy. Tulsidass composed Sri Ram Charit Manas a great poetry, which comprised of teachings on Bhakti, spiritual and health sciences, social and political problems and many other sciences concerning the universe and human life. Besides these two there were more saints, who were born around this period. Saint Shri Naamdeojy from South India is one, who composed his famous devotional scripture known as Gyaneshwari and led the masses to the path of devotion of the lord. Thus during the most crucial period of history, Vedic Dharm, could be saved.

Prayer: - Today the whole Vedic society is divided in number of branches due to several reasons, but the Gurus can play a vital role in uniting the same. Therefore, we pray to the Almighty to inspire the Gurus of today to rewrite Vedic Dharm in scientific terms to guide the modern generation. This book is in the larger interest of humanity and new generation in particular, because it gives the technique of living happy life, have painless death and go across death thereafter.

A comparative study of chief therapies including Homoeopathy has been presented in scientific terms. Homoeopathy is a spiritual science and also an Art. This is why it is very difficult in practice. A separate book titled as The Way to Perfect Health*, has also been published for the benefit of the Readers. It provides comparative study of various therapies in vogue and takes you to higher realm of knowledge about your health. This book is a must for everyone.
