FAVOURI NG GODS RIGHTEOUS CAUSE THROUGH YOUR GIVING

Psalm 35, verse 27 NKJV Let them shout for joy and be glad, who f avor my righteous cause; and let them say continually let the lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his people

What is Gods righteous cause

Luke 4, verse 18 the spirit of the lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord Therefore Gods righteous cause is to preach the gospel. That men should be delivered from the kingdom of darkness into KINGDOM OF GOD. The reason is because of his great love for mankind For god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3: 16

The lord jesus knew that This is what is in the heart of God and how important it is. That is why he declared in John 9, verse 4,5 I must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; the night is comming when no man can work. as long as I am in the world , I am the light of the world. He realised that more hands will be required to fulfil this mandate.

Christ died and rose from the dead, we also died and rose with him as new creations

He has given us the mandate to favour Gods tighteous cause with the help of the Holy Spirit 1 John 4, verse 17 As he is, so are we in this worlld.

That anointing he received has also been given to us Mathew 28, verse 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy Ghost Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age

Mark 16, verse 15 Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

The question now is, has every creature heard the gospel?. NO God has there fore raised up different ministeries.in order to fufill this mandate. Christ embassy has been given a ministry through our man of god Pastor chris To take the gospel to other nations.

Why must we put our resources into the preaching the gospel?. The gospel is free but is not cheap, freely you have received freely give. Even as the gospel is given out free, somebody has to take care of the bills incurred. This where partners of the gospel come Christ had partners ministering to him as he went about preaching the gospel. Luke 8, verses 2.3 His ministry was limited in those days. He did not have access to the information technology that we have today. But now it has to be preached to every creature within the limited period we have left before Christ comes the second time.

Going from house to house is not enough, because there are places in the world like the middle east where you are not allowed to preach the gospel. we have to make use of available means of our time such as the internet multimedia, satellite TV, radio, e.t.c to bypass these restrictions. These modern means of communication are very expensive

How can we favour Gods righteous cause through our financial giving This is about using our resources to preach the gospel. There are 2 things I have learnt 1. We must understand that whenever God requires us to do anything, he always provides the ability. 2. The blessing of God is for a purpose Exodus 12, verses 35,36 In exodus, God told the children of Isreal to borrow jewelry from their neighbours because he was going to require them to provide material for the bulding of the tabernacle and service materials in the wilderness We are blessed already as seeds of Abraham covenant blessing is at work us. When god blessed Abraham it was with a purpose Genesis 12, verse 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you. And make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.

Deuteronomy 8, verse 18 The purpose of Gods blessing in your life is not to acquire wealth, but to favour his righteous course. it is a blessing with a purpose.

Note that in what you have with you now or what God has blessed you with right now includes both seed to favour his righteous cause and bread to eat. It does not matter how muc you have. This the year of favour and pastor has said that for that favour to be manifest, we also must show favour. In what ways can we support the righteous cause with our resources in christ embassy 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Tithes. Malachi 3, verse 16 First fruit proverbs 3, verse 9 Partnership Seeds Our free will offerings Special seeds given for specific needs in our life.

Proverbs 3, verse 9 Honour the lord with your possessions, and with the first fruit of all your increase,; So shall your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

God expects us to shout for joy and be glad as we favour his righteous cause. He does not want us to do it in fear, sorrow but in faith. 2 corinthians 9, verses 6 amplified 6. Remember this : He who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously that blessing may come to someone will also reap generously and with blessings 7. Let each one give as he has made up his own mind and purposed In his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under any compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above

other things, and is unwilling to abadon or do without) a cheerfull ( joyous, prompt to do it) giver ( whose heart is in his giving . God expects us to declare with our mouths and acknowledge that he has pleasure in our prosperity. His requiring us to give is for us to be blessed. For it is more blessed to give than to receive. He has given us his word, that he will bless us in our giving Malachi 3:10,11 Luke 6:38 Hebrews 6: 10 Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not loose heart or faint

Our man of God has told this is the set time for God to favour us. Let us key into it by showing favour to his righteous cause
