Picking the best dunkers in the league and increasing the prize to 100.000 $ were both really good ideas. Nevertheless, I think there are some issues that should be analized and changed to improve this contest. 1st - Time to achieve a dunk. From my point of view it's not a good idea to set a time. It stresses the contestants and hurries them to finish. If we want the players to show us their best dunks they need to know that they can take their time to do them. The less preassure, the better. 2nd- Judges should be great former or active dunkers. Julius Erving, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and other great dunkers were at the Toyota Center and not in the jury. We all know it was Houston's All-Star, but we always want the best judges available to be giving the scores. 3rd- Judges should not show their marks until they had not watched a dunk at least twice replayed from different angles. There are lots of details in a dunk that we are not able to see live. 4th- There should be some guidelines to penalize a dunk in case the player needed more than a single attempt to do it. A great dunk should get a great scoring even if it takes 8 or 10 attempts to be done. This would help the judges in their ballots making them more objetive.

5th- Increase from 2 to 3 the dunks for each player in the first round. Too many times we have seen great dunkers eliminated even before taking their second attempt just because they had a bad first dunk. That way we will make sure the best dunkers reach the final. 6th- The competition between both Conferences expanded to the Saturday Contests it's a really good idea, but if the best two dunkers are from the same conference they should both make the final. Same should happen in Shooting Stars, Skills Contest and 3point Contest.
