President Barack Obama: The Second Term

Times have changed indeed. When he or President Barack Obama was elected President in November of 2008, I was 24 years old. I would not be 25 until December of 2008. Now, in February of 2013, I am 29 years old. I am almost thirty years old now. What is wild that people from all over mistake me for a younger man or even a high school student because of how I look like (I have a youthful physical appearance because I eat healthier foods and so forth. I work out as well and I feel rejuvenated in my mind, body, and spirit after a great workout. Also, any human beings regardless of their physical appearance, color, gender, or any background for that matter should be treated the same with dignity and respect. All men are created equal of course. It does not matter what you look like. It matters if you do the right thing in your life). I feel more mature as I am getting older. This month is important for many reasons and it is important to know the contributions of black human beings not only in the past. Black History is being made every day in the present and it will continue to flourish in the future as well. As a black man, I respect my heritage and at the same time, I know the great intrinsic values found in the whole of the human race too. Black History is not limited or confined into a small month or some time period at all. Black History is human history and real black culture ought to respected and truly loved. Tons of men and women of numerous backgrounds (that I know in real life) worked hard, did the right thing, and executed compassion for fellow human beings. All human beings should be afforded the same dignity, rights, and respect as anyone else. For years, I knew that a black man would be in White House, but I didnt realize that it would come so early in my lifetime. Our time represents old issues and new challenges. Our time deals with technology, leadership, and many different types of issues also. There is also the issue of strength that ought to be elaborated upon. Far too often, some folks believe that strength is how good you can fight physically to harm another human being. That is not real strength. Real strength is about a person overcoming obstacles.

It is about opposing evil in society and it is about making your spiritual & social aptitudes stronger as time goes on. It is about standing up for the oppressed and the mistreated. It is about handling responsibilities and doing what is right in order for us to grow our talents and blessings that the Creator gave us. I believe in justifiable selfdefense, but at times it takes a bigger human being to avoid violence as a means to engineer conflict resolution. See, that is precisely real strength. What goes around comes around. You dont need to worry. If someone mistreated you, then the Creator will defend you. Just live your life, treat your neighbor as yourself, and never intentionally try to hurt another human beings feelings in an inappropriate way. I show love for the real

folks that held it down for the human race. For it is the truth that all human beings deserve liberty, love, justice, equality, and the pursuit of happiness irrespective of their background or physical appearance. We have the right to be strong, to be real, and to be true.
In a span of four years, we witness some of the legacy found within the Presidency of President Barack Obama. He is a gifted intellectual and an eloquent orator. He worked in communities across America. Yet, the President is filled with great controversy. Some disagree with him for legitimate reasons and others disagree with him for illegitimate (and sometimes even bigoted) purposes. The President deals with a litany of vitality important issues ranging from the economy, immigration, health care, other domestic matters, and foreign policy matters. The President of the United States of America has executed legitimate policy decisions. Additionally, he subsequently made apparent errors as well. His total legacy has yet to be written, but one thing we know for sure. We know for sure that he is a

historic Presidential figure as the first black African-American President in American history.

A Short Biography & Inspiration

Barack Obama's biography is ever known in the world. He was born on August 4, 1961 at Kapiolani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital (now the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children) in Honolulu, Hawaii. His father was Barack Obama, Sr. and he was an Kenyan African Luo man from Nyang'oma Kogelo, Kenya. His father was also a Kenyan college professor from the University of Hawaii. His mother was Stanley Ann Dunham from Wichita, Kansas. Barack Obama lived in Indonesia for a while and returned into Honolulu as a means to live with his maternal grandparents. His mother divorced his Kenyan father and married a man named Lolo Seotoro in March 15, 1963. He or Lolo was a then Indonesian East West graduate student in geography at the University of Hawaii. Barack Obama was a smart child and he dealt with many issues in his early life. He admitted that the land of Hawaii gave him an opportunity to see different cultures and the concept of the unity of the human race. When a person

gets older, a person understands the unity in diversity (or the great equal value) as found in the human race. Our diversity and similarities as members of the human family represent our strengths not weaknesses. Barack Obama finished high school and first attended
Occidental College by 1979 in Los Angeles. On February 1981, he gave his first public speech calling Occidental to divest from South Africa in response to South Africa back then agreeing with the immorality of apartheid. Thank God that apartheid was defeated in South Africa indeed. In 1981, he visited Indonesia to visit his mother, his sister Maya, and to visit the families of college friends (in Pakistan and India) for three weeks. He transferred to Columbia University in NYC in 1981. He majored in political science with a specialty in international relations. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1983, which ironically was the

year that I was born in America. He worked for a year at the Business International Corporation and then at the New York Public Interest Research Group. In 1985, Barack Obama went to community organizing in the city of Chicago. He worked with the Catholic Church as a means to develop the community of South Side Chicago. He set up a job training program, a college preparatory tutoring program, and a tenants' rights organization in Altgeld Gardens. He visited Kenya in the late 1980's and in 1992 with his then fiance Michelle Obama and his sister Auma. Barack Obama is famous for entering Harvard Law School. President Barack Obama experienced a lot of trials and tribulations. He was educated in numerous places and he was on the Harvard Law School review board. His colleagues from Harvard viewed Barack Obama as a man that knew about to bridge the gap of perspectives among liberals & conservatives in the law school.

The truth always explodes like mental awakenings. The President tried to compromise with the reactionaries and they still tried to ruin his Presidency. This policy of attempting to placate extremists didn't work when Abraham Lincoln tried to compromise once with the slaveholding tyrants of the Confederacy in the name of national unity. That didn't work since the evil Confederacy wanted to permanently advance slavery and inequality in their territories. It took a Civil War to preserve the Union and to end the monstrous system of overt human slavery. That is why the nation of the USA had to do in order for America to defeat the tyrannical Confederacy in order for the Union to be preserved. Compromising didn't work with Franklin D. Roosevelt either. FDR ended the Great Depression with the more interventionist New Deal plan. The Republicans and the reactionary Dixiecrats opposed him even when the late President Franklin Delano Roosevelt tried to extend certain economic and human rights to the poor and the working class in America. When President Franklin Delano Roosevelt came along, he tried at first to have compromise with the extreme Dixiecrats. FDR even made an error by agreeing with the Dixiecrat's support of creating internment camps against innocent Japanese American citizens. They or the Dixiecrats still opposed him at every step and hated FDR's progressive economic agenda. That is why FDR ended the Great Depression via strong governmental programs. He tried further to extend real economic rights to working people and the poor via a Second Bill of Rights. We as Americans and as human beings in general didn't compromise when the Civil Rights Movement grew into new heights during the 1950's and the 1960's. During the 1950's and the 1960's, Presidents and civil rights activists caused civil rights legislation to be a reality in the USA. There were hypocrites that opposed civil rights like the Dixiecrat Strom Thurmond. Many reactionary Republicans and Dixiecrats opposed the agenda of civil rights and other real parts of the social contract. This is the trait of a reactionary in disagreeing with human rights. Even the great reactionary Ronald Reagan back in the 1960's made the silly notion that Medicare would be a first step towards the establishment of a Stalinist America.

This image shows all of the living Presidents in American history now. The current President is of course Barack Obama. You see George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Jimmy Carter. This is from January 7, 2009 where Barack Obama suggested that these men come to have lunch with him. This is the first time such a lunch has transpired since 1981. The political establishment and their allies are heavily friends in a lot of cases. In life, we have to get through the political theater in order for us to witness the real truth. When the current President Barack Obama made the legitimate, reasonable measure of proposing a moratorium on evictions and foreclosures, it was undermined by both Republicans and Democrats. They undermined his proposal. The big picture is that real, progressive transformations will comes by relentless efforts without token compromise. We know that many Republicans are hypocrites since they claim to disagree with the stimulus, but they accept stimulus money in their own districts like Paul Ryan. I agree with the stimulus plan when it is used to assist our domestic infrastructure or when it is used to assist our fellow human beings wisely. That money has sent relief to some of the unemployed. Money to assist the common people not the oligarchs to do what they want is fine with me. That is why when you

have a centrist so-called pragmatic approach, you will have a centrist, very slow economic recovery. Radical economic policy can lead into radical economic improvement.
So, in these days, legitimate critiques of the President are necessary, but also we ought to talk solutions as well. A person can balk all day long. Yet, if that person lacks solutions, then that human being is balking up the wrong tree. I am older, so I do now realize that a person should offer to the public solutions not just criticisms against the current political order.

What the White House is right on.

The new second term of President Barack Obama is an interesting era of human history. It is a new era of America indeed in 2013. He sent the olive branch to the reactionaries of the Republican Party and they balled the olive branch up. This is typical of them since they view any federal government intervention as equivalent to socialism, which is silliness. History is a great teacher. What we see is that compromise or token measures never works as a means to need radical crises or injurious situations. Even Friedman was wrong to support the dictator Pinochet in Chile and Suharto in Indonesia. This came about not via compromise, but by dedicated efforts of protests, opposition to oppression, and perseverance. The current President Barack Obama is an intellectual genius and has great political IQ. It is just for him to call for a moratorium on evictions and foreclosures as a means to stem our economic crisis. A real single payer health care must be instituted to include all those who lack sufficient, affordable health care for even the Affordable Care Act is not perfect (yet, it has some legitimate parts in it). Any reasonable human being wants change that we can believe in. Some of the changes in America over the years have been good and others have been very immoral. Pragmatic centrism will not defeat the excesses of corporate power. We must restore our beleaguered civil liberties. We have the right to establish single payer national health care. Real unions ought to have their collective bargaining position strengthened. An end to American militarism and imperialism ought to exist. Therefore, the United States of America can further work with other nations constructively and reasonably. The big lobbies should have no control over all of the political power in the world. The people ought to have the power to control the government and create solutions not corporate interests. "Dreams from My Father" is President Barack Obama's book that outlined his views and aspirations. His total legacy is unknown at this moment. We may never know about his true legacy until decades after 2017. What we do know is that the President has a chance to make a real progressive impact in the world stage or have the centrist status quo. The choice is up to the brother indeed. We all respect the White House's family and I respect the truth too. Now, first I will show what the President got correct in his Presidency so far. Then, next I will present some of his errors. Finally, I will include information on the State of the Union Address, and other miscellaneous facts.

The brother President Barack Obama has gotten many policies correct in the world. Far too often, reactionaries lecture us on individual rights, which I have no issue with. Yet, they readily ignore collective power in the lives of all humans. In other words, the value of the individual ought to never be

utilized as an excuse to violate the common trust and the common good of the entire populace. Now, the President is correct to sign the Claims Resolution Act. This law provided $4.6
billion in funding for a legal settlement with Black American farmers and Native Americans farmers who the government cheated out of their loans and natural resource royalty in years past. I agree with him on signing the Fair Sentencing Act, which fights against unjust prison sentencing against those with possessing certain drugs. He expanded Pell Grant Spending, which I have no issue with at all. The legitimate portions of the Affordable Care Act like refusing discrimination against folks with a preexisting condition are things that I have no problem with at all either. The President sent billions of dollars in federal grant to help HBCUs or Historically Black Colleges and Universities. He tasked all federal agencies to develop new strategies to address HIV/AIDS. He extended unemployment benefits for millions of workers among numerous years. President Barack Obama ordered the White House and all federal agencies to respect the Freedom of Information Act and overturned Bush-era limits on accessibility of federal documents in 2009. President Barack Obama signed the Improper Payments and Elimination Recovery Act in 2010. This law was to curb wasteful spending. He signed a nuclear limitation

treaty with Russia in 2010. The agreement calls for both countries to reduce their nuclear weapons by one-third (1,500) and launch systems by half (800). He signed an Executive Order to promote the federal government as a model employer when it comes to hiring the disabled in 2010. This includes new efforts to increase the recruitment, hiring, and training for the disabled.
The President of the United States signed the FAA Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act that deal with airplane safety. He also allowed new EPA restrictions on mercury and toxic pollution. This can reduce carbon emissions. He signed the Omnibus Public Lands Management Act of 2009. This is designed to designate more than 2 million acres of land as wilderness. It created thousands of miles of recreational and historic trails and protected more than 1,000 miles of rivers. One of the greatest positives about the President is his sincere, great love for his wife and family. When you look at pictures and other images of the White House, you see a Brother loving a strong Sister including his daughters. So, BLACK LOVE IS ETERNAL AND GREAT TO SEE INCLUDING HUMAN LOVE. The beautiful Sister First Lady Michelle Michelle Obama was correct to give respect to the late Jackie Robinson and her wife living now. The First Lady Michelle Obama is right to advance the fight against childhood obesity in America. She is right to organize exercise programs across America. Now, we should always realize that beauty is never monolithic or beauty is diverse in the world. Without diversity, the world would be bland, so we should respect the human family in numerous colors, shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. Regardless of my views on issues, it is very inspiring to witness a family loving each other and caring for each other.

So, these policies are legitimate and I see no trepidation from these overt actions in my opinion.

The Errors of the Presidency

To be fair, it is time to show the critiques of the current White House. The expression of the following facts is not to personally slander the brother, but the President has to be made known of some errors in order for the country to achieve better achievements. In our time, all of us haven't strongly fought for economic justice, peace, and ending the prison state not just the current administration. Now, the White House has not successfully addressed in a radical way on how to reduce the unemployment rate in America, especially in the black community. Economic inequality is still huge in the world not only in America. The White House is not totally responsible for this reality since this economic inequality has been growing for decades. Huge funds are rolling the profits. The Dow just had its best January since January of 1994. We have 47 million human beings on food stamps now from 17 million in the year 2000. Goldman Sachs made 400 million dollars driving up food prices in 2012 while hundreds of millions around the world existed on the edge of starvation. Some locations in America now make feeding the homeless illegal. The wealthiest Americans have more wealth than the bottom 150 Americans combined. America ranks 93rd in the world in income inequality. So, these statistics are real. We need to do something about these conditions constructively and radically. He didn't raise the minimum wage to $9.50 an hour almost as soon as he made it. We do not see a massive job creation program to address these bad economic conditions in America. We need a living wage and the real assistance to the oppressed in the world. We have to end the War on Drugs completely. The reason is that the violation of human civil liberties and the ruination of the lives of men, women, and children too have been the result of the decades long War on Drugs. The White House has advanced numerous reactionary economic policies in America. For example, President Barack Obama has advanced Wall Street bailouts and he allowed other austerity plans too. The NSA is reading millions of emails in the world and the White House advances this policy with our taxpayer dollars. On some foreign policy matters, the administration acts as a continuation of the previous Bush administration. For example, the President presides over Africom and other militarization policies in Africa. Libya has been attacked by US backed NATO forces that caused many civilian deaths and allowing a puppet regime to take over Libyan territory. Many black innocent Libyans have been raped, terrorized, assaulted, murdered, and even lynched by brutes or terrorists. Even innocent Syrian Christians and Shias have been killed by U.S. backed terrorist rebels in Syria. The unjust drone attacks in the Middle East and Africa is ever known today. The drone attacks occur now in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, and across the African continent. Innocent men, women, and children have been killed via the drone attacks without due process or international law consideration. There are still some intelligence agencies that may continue the torture programs. There has been an expansion of the assassination program that has killed American citizens without due process of law in this administration. For example, U.S. citizen Anwar al-Awlaki was killed without a trial by jury

including his teenage son (who was innocent). There has been the advancement of policies that circumvent not only constitutional rights, but human rights or international via the authorization indefinite military detention of human beings (potentially of U.S. citizens under certain circumstances). Isn't ironic that the man that condemned the Bush's invasion of Iraq (and his violations of human rights) is now a prosecutor of imperialist wars (and he is using drone missiles and other tactics as a means to carry out this agenda). In foreign policy, the elevation of Obama's administrator of drone attacks, John Brennana man who under Bush publicly defended tortureto the position of CIA director signals an expansion of military aggression and extrajudicial killings. This reality means that we still witness further attacks on democratic rights. So, the President of the United States of America Barack Obama is wrong to agree with the Patriot Act extension, the NDAA, with proposing Wall Street insiders & those linked to big banks to be in his cabinet, Presidential secret Kill Lists, with some massive cuts to the social safety net as justified with the ubituquous phrase of a "balanced approach," and the massive public school privatization. A lot of whistleblowers have been jailed too in this era.

The Presidency of Barack Obama has made other errors and mistakes as well. Sometimes, I know it is hard to write about such things even years ago. Yet, the truth is no respecter of persons. In other words, you have to show the truth even if it is unpopular or inconvenient with a lot of human beings. We do realize that Obama is not to be blamed for all aspects of our situation, so I want to make that perfectly clear. On January 6, 2005, he voted as a Senator for the endorsement of the seating of the fraudulent electors form Ohio. These electors gave Bush and Cheney a second stolen term. Only one Senator named Barbara Boxer of California voted against the policy. Years ago, Obama's chief foreign policy advisor was Zbigniew Brzezinski. Brzezinski was the man who crafted the Afghanistan war back in 1979. He agreed with a technocratic society where certain elitists would govern the huge functions of a complex world society. Brzezinskis 1997 book The Grand Chessboard helped lay the foundation for the current imperial atrocities, predicting that "as America becomes an increasingly multicultural society, it may find it more difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstance of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat." We know that the Africom military command is used as a cover as an excuse for Western corporate interests want to grab African oil and minerals (with competition against further Chinese influence in the African continent). Those of Africom wants a 15 fold

expansion in drones and other intelligence gathering. Africom is a military group, so their goal is about trying to militarily control as much as Africa as possible. That is one of the goals of any military. European allies and African proxies are involved in this neo-imperialism as well. The nominated General David Rodriquez could rule AFRICOM. He told the Senate Armed Services Committee that he wants more drones, spy planes, and satellites, etc. in Africa. We know that the United States have or is planning on building drone bases in Djibouti, Ethiopia, Niger, Burkina Faso, and even in the Seychelles Islands. Many other Special Forces are in the heart of Africa from Kenya to South Sudan. You will notice that the left gatekeepers even (including some in the Black American misleadership class as opposed to real Black American revolutionaries that are really fighting for the truth) agree with this neoliberal agenda. The misleadership class fundamentally doesn't give an inch of concern about Africa. They don't care about Africa, because if they did, they would advocate European imperialists to leave the African continent and advocate Africans to rule their own lands (with advanced technological developments without GMOs, without radical population, and without oppression from the World Bank or the IMF). In the final analysis, Africa is for the Africans and Africans ought to rule all of Africa. Both mainstream Republicans and mainstream Democrats advance similar policies from more Wall Street funding to more reactionary foreign policy agenda. Being a revolutionary means it is just being a decent human being. You can just be an activist, work with real human beings, and treating fellow human beings with dignity including respect.

A SUMMARY OF THE AFGANISTAN WAR: There is no such thing as a humanitarian war. It is an oxymoron. 100 billion dollars have been spent in the Afghan reconstruction by the USA and it has improved little for the Afghan people. The Afghanistan war occurred when I was a Freshman in college. I remember it like it was yesterday. 2 billion dollars a week have been spent for over 10 years to fight 55 Al-Qaeda operatives. Hamid Karzai does little to nothing when US/NATO kills even civilians in a regular basis. The Nobel Peace Prize winner President Barack Obama said that he wants to get the heart of Al-Qaeda when Al-Qaeda has a long, complex history. Even the U.S. tortured human beings in Afghanistan. After close to a dozen extended trips to Afghanistan, 3 time Nobel Peace Prize nominee, Kathy Kelly, the co-coordinator for Voices for Creative Nonviolence spoke to the VORs John Robles about all of the above and more, painting a horrendously grim picture of the U.S. success in Afghanistan. Afghanistan is in trouble of suffering more. Kathy Kelly talks about the corruption as it pertains to the reconstruction effort in Afghanistan. She said that the 100 billion dollars supposed spent on Afghanistan's reconstruction (of its healthcare, education, infrastructure, etc.), but into other areas. There is billions spent in the war on terror every week, while starvation, disease, and unemployment are on the rise in Afghanistan. One out of eleven Afghan women dies in childbirth. One of five children doesn't live beyond their fifth birthday. 1 in 3 folks in mostly peaceful provinces like Bamyan lack electricity in the morning. 1 million children suffer from acute malnutrition in Afghanistan, especially in its southern region. There are 400 new refugees every day that are driven into Afghan cities via the war. These camps have poorly constructed tents during

the harsh cold. This is not representative of a humanitarian war at all. The National Directorate of Security is a secret police agency or the NDS. We know that over half of the Afghan human beings in jail have been tortured. President Hamid Karzai knows about the civilian deaths in Afghanistan. There was an USA aerial attack that killed ten human beings (who were four little girls and a little boy and five women, and one man and they were all civilians). Karzai says that this act is unacceptable, but not much more. Kelly said that many Afghanis are held without charge for months and tortured by Afghan authorities. There are complaints about the Bagram prison having the US doing torture. If the USA experienced, we will fight invaders to the last person. The night raids in Afghanistan allowed dishes to be broke, furniture destroyed, and households are hog tied. This isn't me typing these words down. These words are not just said by Kelly. One staff sergeant doesn't care if these sick, demented actions would be recruiting grounds for more of the Taliban. Leon Panetta admitted in December of 2011 that only 55 major Al Qaeda operatives live in Afghanistan. This is wild. The truth is that Al-Qaeda has roots from Saudi Arabia, the ISI, and Western intelligence agencies. They are being used as well as the Taliban as a means to advance militarism in the region and throughout the Earth. A military action can never cause peace fundamentally. Only peace can create peace. A peaceful, political settlement can solve the issues in Afghanistan. Other Errors of the Current White House:

On the growth of income inequality: The richest Americans have captured more than 100% of all income On bailouts to the big banks: The $780 billion Tarp bailout to the Big banks per year. Very few financial criminals have been prosecuted.

On targeting whistleblowers: The Obama administration has targeted more whistleblowers than all other Presidents combined. Many whistleblowers are treated as murdering terrorists, which is extreme to say the least On government secrecy: In March of 2010, the AP documented that under Obama 17 major agencies were 50 percent more likely to deny freedom of information requests than under Bush. The ACLU and a new AP investigation said that the Obama administration is more secretive than ever. On Civil Liberties and the Constitution: Many liberals hated the policies of Bush for trampling liberties, which they are correct about. Yet, some of them are silent on his indefinite detainment policies, extrajudicial assassination without due process of law, illegal spying of even American citizens without warrants, and the separation of powers being harmed.

On Military Conflicts: The administration either supports or agrees with wars in Libya, Syria, Yemen, Pakistan, and dozens of other nations. The former chief military prosecutor at Guantanamo says that Obamas drone surge is as damaging to our country as Bushs torture program.

The May 23, 2013 Foreign Policy speech by the President Barack Obama (at Washingtons National Defense University)

President Barack Obama gave his national security speech that tried his best to justify the Western Empire. I give him credit. He is a great orator and his rhetoric is interesting. Yet, the truth must be known and we know the truth. The tyrannical DHS and the TSA will be exposed by real Patriots and all other truth-seekers for real. There is not a single justification for talking about no excuses for the victims of oppression, but refusing to say no excuses to the big banks or members of Wall Street. He made his historical speech at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C. He offered a tortured defense of extra judicial assassinations. He in the first time publicly acknowledged the killing of Anwar al-Awlaki in September 2011. He was an U.S. citizen. He outlined a contradiction. He tried to defend drone assassination while acknowledging the argument of their illegality and the illegality of much of what the American government has done over the past decade. If his actions were legal and moral, why is he asking for reforms of his policies? The White House is in the defensive about much of their foreign policy ideologies. They are aware of this. The ruling class has known this. The White House and the ruling elite know that many of these foreign policy procedures are illegal. One woman interrupted the speech and denounced the administration's policy on drone assassinations and the detention center at Guantanamo Bay (which Obama wants to end in the future). The words on Awlaki were mentioned as a means for the administration to try to make the assassination program a fixture of U.S. policy. Americas actions are legal, Obama insisted, referring to extra-judicial assassinations. We were attacked on 9/11. Within a week, Congress overwhelmingly authorized the use of force. Under domestic and international law, the United States is at war with Al Qaeda, the Taliban, and their associated forces. President Barack Obama knows full well that the assassination program is unconstitutional and illegal. You don't go around killing or assassinating U.S. citizens without due process of law. He was briefed on the events of strikes in Iraq and Afghanistan. Congress has been briefed on these actions. Al Awlaki was an U.S. citizen and he was assassinated or killed without due process of law. The Fifth Amendment means something. The White House refuses to talk about the kill lists extensively. The government has never provided any evidence of

its allegations in the court of law. The White House doesn't refer to the due process of law as a means to justify the killings. He talks about the due process which excludes the intervention of the courts, but only uses the executive branch (and his closest advisers). The President said that he didn't want the state to use drones in U.S. soil. Thats who Anwar Awlaki was, Obama alleged, before making a series of unproven accusations. He was continuously trying to kill people. He helped oversee the 2010 plot to detonate explosive devices on two US-bound cargo planes. He was involved in planning to blow up an airliner in 2009. When Farouk Abdulmutallab, the Christmas Day bomber, went to Yemen in 2009, Awlaki hosted him, approved his suicide operation, helped him tape a martyrdom video to be shown after the attack, and his last instructions were to blow up the airplane when it was over American soil. None of this gets to the essential issue. The Constitution requires that charges of illegal activity be proven in a court of law. No court has ever determined the validity of any of these claims, and therefore the killing of Awlaki was unconstitutional. A reform of the drone attacks have been proposed by the White House as a means to give it a rubberstamp to carry out imperialism. It is true that Western society has caused a dangerous precedence of torture, illegal wars, and other evils in our midst. The President wants to have military commissions in America as a means to end Guantanamo Bay. He said that we must confront terrorism when the US/NATO alliance has funded terrorists in Libya, Syria, and throughout the Earth. The CIA is a terrorist organization. So, the truth is that there is no justification for the war crimes in Iraq or Afghanistan. There is no justification for the torture in various sites globally. There is no justification for neoliberalism or imperialism done in the globe as well. Token cosmetic changes can never justify this war on terrorism at all. This imperialism done by the West has nothing to do with democratic values or freedom. It has to do with the oligarchy gaining more profit, a neoliberal version of globalization to be enhanced, and for human beings to be controlled more by the elite in the world.

Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika

President Barack Obama in the Motherland of Africa President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and the rest their family has visited Africa starting in June of 2013. It is a historic moment in our history. The visit marks a changing time where improvements are in Africa along with huge challenges as well. The President visited Africa as a means to connect with his black roots and to advance Western interests in the Motherland. I will be fair here since I am a fair man. Yet, Western interests historically, as we know, have been detrimental to the real interests of our African brothers and sisters. The White House wants to extend U.S. relations or influence in Africa. President Barack Obama recently visited South Africa. South Africa is dealing with the issues of healthcare, HIV/AIDS, education, poverty, and other matters. There is controversy with this visit though. Africom and other U.S. troops are stationed in Africa. Some U.S. military operations are commonly executed in the Horn of Africa, West Africa, etc. as a means to advance U.S. interests irrespective of the needs of Africans. This is done as a means for the West to expand Western hegemony (in competition with China's influence in Africa) including the gaining or exploitation of African resources like oil. Obama has supported the evil overthrow of the Libyan government (where terrorists were aided by NATO as a means to lynch black men, women, and children for racist justifications). Now, the President said that he wants African youth to have self-sustainability and prosperity. He denies that he wants to exploit Africa, but he is the President (of course, he will say that). First Lady Michelle Obama is correct to fight for educational improvement in the Motherland. I have no issue with that. I do have an issue with Africom, imperialism, and Western funding of tyrants in Africa though. Many South Africans protested Barack Obama, because of the U.S.

imperialism existing in the world including Mama Africa. The protesters have shown signs outlining their disapproval with some of the policies from the White House. There are many folks in this anti-imperialist campaign, which is based in Johannesburg. They want justice to the Marikana and Cape Town communities. Western imperialism is a disgrace and Africa has suffered under neo-colonialism and obscene militarization. That is why Africom ought to leave Africa, drone attacks should end, and real strategies for Africa by Africans ought to flourish. Africans should control their own lands not the West or China. Revolutionary fervor has always been huge in Africa for thousands of years. America wants more trade in Africa, because China is doing better in trading with African countries than America is. This is why Somalia is being destroyed by Western actions. In the final analysis, the West wants to expand their interests and those interests deal with the growing of the Western Empire. Ironically, the U.S. Empire is decline. So, Africans should advance their own self-determination. Africans are rejecting the divide and conquer strategies of the enemy completely.

As for the President, I do not hate the Brother. He is a man. Yet, I do have disagreements with him, nothing more or less. I believe that the Sister First Lady Michelle Obama is always highly elegant, intelligent, very beautiful, and ought to be treated with dignity and respect. I just feel that the administration should address the agenda of AFRICOM (which deals with militarization and slick actions against African peoples) and end imperialism in Africa. The war on terrorism is a notorious disgrace and it ought to end ASAP. Also, education in Africa should be enhanced of course and Michelle Obama is right on that issue. The beauty of Africa is great to behold. As an African American, Africa is forever etched in my mind, body, spirit (as we are a spiritual people), and soul. It is part of my ancestors. Africa has a great history and legacy from the lands of Kush to the modern day African scientists, engineers, mathematicians, athletes, musicians, actors, actresses, political leaders, judges, lawyers, theologians, and other contributors to human civilization in general. That is why we should continue to fight for pan-African black liberation worldwide. We have brothers and sisters living in the four corners of the Earth, but we are one people. We are one.

The New Secretary of State in 2013

The Skulls and Bonesman John Kerry is the new Secretary of State of America. John Kerry was in the Skulls and Bones since 1966. John Forbes Kerry is the famous U.S. Senator and he has a history of being in league with the establishment on a number of issues. Kerry agrees with the rebels destroying Syria in making some token pro-Western regime. John Kerry is in the blue bloodline of oligarchs. Kerry could be more aggressive than his predecessor Hillary Rodman Clinton. The foreign policy of America is overseeing the destroying of sovereign and independent nation states of the world that don't agree with Western policies. Also, we have chaos and warlords as well. The divide and conquer strategy of the elites is being implemented every day in the world in terms of foreign policy matters. John Kerry wants to increase the aid to the Syrian rebels (some of whom that his own department view as terrorists). He was the richest Senator in the United States. Richard Kerry is his father and Richard was a Foreign Service officer for the U.S. State Department being involved in United Nations affairs. His paternal grandparents were Jewish parents and converted to Roman Catholicism in the early 20th century. Their names were Fritz Kohn and Ida Lowe (from Budapest). Fritz Kohn committed suicide since his shoe store went bankrupt. John Kerry is a Roman Catholic to this day. His mother was Rosemary Isabel Forbes. The Forbes were of the blue bloods that came into Massachusetts back in

the mid 1700's. The famous Forbes family has an individual named Ralph Bennett Forbes (he married Margaret Perkins. She was a daughter of the Perkins family). Perkins and Co. partnered with the British East India Company. The BEIC shipped opium from India to China, and tea from China to Europe including North America.

The Forbes were allied with the Cabots, the Cushings, etc. These individuals were known drug runners. John Murray Forbes managed the acquisition by the Perkins interests of Alexander Graham Bells innovations in the telephone. His son became the president of the American Bell Telephone Company in 1879. Many of these New England bloodlines were tied to the Skulls and Bones. The Bushes were included in the New England families. The Skulls and Bones have members dedicated to advancing the agenda of the establishment. They are heavily linked to world history. Skulls and Bones member Harvey Bundy was the roommate of John Kerry. Harvey is the grandson of Harvey Hollister Bundy (he worked closely with the U.S. Secretary of War Henry Stimson during WWII. The Skull and Bones clique of Stimson, Bundy, Robert Lovett, and George Harrison that were involved in the dropping of two atomic bombs on Japan, which was unjust). Decades later, Harvey Hollister Bundy's two sons named William and McGeorge (along with Averill Harriman would advocate the U.S. military escalation in Vietnam). All of these men were Bonesmen. So, John Kerry's life is filled with controversy including the Skull and Bones secret society. John Kerry was known heavily for the 2004 campaign. He could not win that election, because of his perceived flip flopping on issues and his refusal to call an end to the Iraq & Afghan wars. In 2004, John Kerry made the class prejudice comments that disadvantaged students need to study hard and get good grades or else they would have to join the U.S. military and get stuck in Iraq. Teresa Heinz Kerry is his wife and she was a registered Republican until 2003. Now, he is increasingly became a war monger. He wants the ouster of Assad and wanted a no fly zone over Libya. His views on the Middle East is the same as the establishment Democrats and the establishment Republicans. Right now, we know much about John Kerry and the future will show his true actions as the new Secretary of State.

A Short Summary of the Syrian Civil War

It is obvious what the civil war in Syria is all about. The United States, Saudi Arabia, and Israel are in unison in wanting the war in Syria to continue (as a means to overthrow Assad and install a pro-Western leader in Syria). We realize that all 3 nations worked together in wanting to overthrow the Syrian government via sectarian extremists back in 2007. Now,

we witness even the reactionary regime of Qatar sending tons of weapons to the militants in Syria. We know that Al-Qaeda's Syrian franchise called Jabhat al-Nusra is the best armed and most well equipped militant front in the conflict. . These U.S., Saudi, and Israel backed terrorists continue to use a myriad of horrendous atrocities against all of the Syrian population from Sunnis, Christians, and even Sunni Muslims. The Western establishment wants the destruction of Syria. They just use democracy and sectarianism as guises in the midst of their real agenda of continued imperialism. Even the U.S. Department admitted that Syria faces a threat from al-Qaeda. They want a blockade of arms and aid from reaching the government to fight terrorists. These terrorists are in every major Syrian city. Since 2007, the U.S., Saudi Arabia, and Israel wanted to use groups like the sectarian Muslim Brotherhood including groups sympathetic to Al Qaeda as a means to overthrow Assad. Even in 2013, Sunni Muslims are being murdered if they refuse to participate in the destruction of the current Syrian state. The rebels made a mortar bombardment of Damascus University. This killed 15 and injured dozens more. There was the recent brutal slaying of 2 prominent Sunni Muslim clerics, which one of them was beheaded. His body was paraded in the streets of Aleppo and his head hung from the mosque where he preached in. So, these criminals had no respect for religious freedom at all. The West lied and said that these victims were pro-government. The truth is that these forces are funded, armed, directed, and supported by overseas groups. These groups are not representative of all of the Syrian people at all. This proxy war has violated international law. The West has given weapons to these weapons via Jordan and NATO member nation Turkey. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry claims that Western delivery of weapons to the rebels is directed to moderates. Yet, the most armed and militarily equipped rebel group is that Al-Qaeda terror front Jabhat al-Nusra. The AP said that the Syrian opposition activists estimate that there are 15-20 different brigades fighting in or around Damascus. Many have the al-Qaeda flags. The NY Times in their June 2012 article mention that the CIA is said to steer arms to Syrian opposition groups. These agents are working in southern Turkey. The New York Times more recent March 2013 article, Arms C.I.A., outlines information Arms Airlift to Syria Rebels Expands, With Aid From C.I.A. that it is admitted that weapons are being funneled into Syria across both its borders with Turkey and Jordan. So, the CIA is funding military aid sent to Syrian opposition fighters via Arabic governments and Turkey. We know that Qatar and Saudi Arabia have been sending military materials via Turkey to the opposition in early and late 2012. In Pulitzer Prizewinning journalist Seymour Hershs 2007 New Yorker article, The The Redirection: Redirection: Is the terrorism? the Administrations new policy benefiting our enemies in the war on terrorism? conspiracy of the U.S., Saudi Arabia, and Israel to use the Muslim Brotherhood or even alQaeda related groups to aid the destruction of Syria has been mapped out since at least 2007. Long term, the Western elites want to undermine or control Iran. So, Syria is being attacked by foreign assault and terrorist proxy groups. These terrorists are violating international and national laws. The Syrian people have the right to handle their own affairs without imperialism or terrorist bombings of their own sovereign territory. The West could even use terrorist proxies in Iran, China amongst the Uighurs. The region of the Uighurs is rich in oil and gas resources. The U.S. is allied with the separatist Uighur movement.

North Korea The situation in North Korea is important to know, to research, and to discuss about. Korea was slaughtered by Japanese imperialists in the early 20th century. During the 1950's, North Korea lost 30% of its population as a result of the U.S. led bombings in Korea. The mainstream media portrays North Korea as some aggressive nation that is a threat to global security. We can't know about the Koran peninsula without understanding about the Korean War. During that war, 20 percent of North Korea's population during the Korea war was killed by extensive bombings. General Curtis LeMay was involved in the massacres. North Korea was destroyed of its 78 cities and thousands of her villages. Official South Korean government sources estimate North Korean civilian deaths at 1,550,000. Refugees came from Yongdong on July 26, 1950. Hundreds of refugees were massacred by U.S. soldiers and warplanes at bridge at No Gun Ri (eight miles away) the day before. LeMay bragged about killing civilians in the Korean War and WWII. If similar acts occurred in America, Americans would say that these acts are a threat to national security. General Curtis Lemay acknowledges that [we] eventually eventually burned down every town in North Korea anyway, some way or another, and some in South Korea too. So, in the inner mind or consciousness of many North Koreans, the USA is seen as the aggressor when ca. 2 million deaths came in the Korean War. The actions in the Korean War define genocide under the 1948 United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. Today, the DPRK is now having a conflict with the White House. On February 12, 2013, the DPRK conducted its third nuclear test. The Security Council then issued Resolution 2094 (S/Res/2094(2013)) on March 7 imposing additional sanctions on the DPRK, including a set of financial sanctions which are intended to reimpose substantial financial hardship on the DPRK. These financial sanctions are part of the focus of Resolution 2094. Some sanctions against North Korea have been agreed to by China. Korea is now divided when it had been unified for 1000 years. The Pentagon has used war games in Asia for a while and there has been agitation in the region. It seems that Washington has used a show of force and this force (from aircraft, etc.) has caused North Korea to show more reactions. The rhetoric from Kim Jong-un is in direct response to this years month-long U.S.-South Korea war games, which he interprets as a possible prelude for another war. It is said that Kim Jong-un actions are done as a means to cause some bilateral discussions on peace. The Wall Street Journal and

even CNN admitted that this Pentagon playbook has been created in months in advance (or approved by the Obama administration earlier in the year). There is nothing defensive about B-52 and B-2 nuclear strategic bombers coming near South Korea. The Pentagon also exploited the opportunity to announce the boosting of anti-ballistic missile systems in the Asia Pacific and to station two US anti-missile destroyers off the Korean coast. It is easy to see that the United States has a stronger military than North Korea and America wants geo-political domination of Asia. The United States is allied with Japan and South Korea. Ironically, China is hesitant in massively funding North Korea, because of North Korea's perceived instability. There is still debate in Beijing over whether to continue to support Pyongyang. China, historically, used North Korea as buffer of Western influence, but they know that the West can exploit tensions in that part of the world as an excuse to have a military buildup. North Korea has threatened to use missiles on the American coast if necessary. China has mobilized troops near the North Korean border. The only solution is for all sides to come to the peace table, end militaristic threats, and fight to not make the barbarism of war a reality.

One of the slickest evils now is the warmongering campaign against North Korea. The Western media is lying in claiming that North Korea has massive nuclear missiles that can destroy America or the leader of North Korea is on par with Hitler. Even Mike Adams is wrong to assume that North Korea has a nuclear warhead on a missile. Even the Pentagon and the intelligence services dont agree with that claim. The reason that folks like Mike Adams would make such a claim since they hate Communism (when radical neoliberal activists and radical reactionaries have been involved in eugenics, racial oppression, and neo-feudalism for centuries long before Karl Marx was ever born). His or Adams' libertarian extremism is something that I can never accept philosophically or personally at all. I have no issue with a watchful eye on government, but not eliminating government in all forms of education, having no public schools, having no public health care at all, etc. When someone confronts corporate power, then you are waking up. We see corporate oligarchs infiltrating the government. This is a reality since $30 trillion sits hidden in offshore tax havens and the majority of that money is own by wealthy Americans. We need money for the people not for militarism. One out of three large corporations pays no taxes in a given year. Even the lost revenues that are found in tax havens are not even discussed in the six mainstream media companies with interlocking boards of directors. Both major parties have ties to the corporate elite. As for immigrants, immigrants are here to stay. So, the reality is that citizenship rights should be given to those that want to become citizens or have legal residence. If all workers have decent wages, and real working conditions, then all Americans will benefit. The rising of the minimum wage into a living wage will benefit all Americans and prevent folks from being economically exploited. Also, I will never vote against my own interests. My people marched, protested, and sometimes died in the 20th century century to fight for the Civil Rights that we are still fighting for today. Now, Secretary of State John Kerry has meet with South Korean leaders, Chinese leaders, and others in the region. region Yet, he refuses to meet with the leaders of North Korea as a means to solve this crisis. John Kerry said that North Korea should not test a missile. The big picture is that the West wants Asian dominance. The current President is very neoliberal and reactionary when it comes to foreign policy and even some domestic policies (especially when it deals with the economy). There is a propaganda campaign to make North Korea as the most

nuclear prone regime in the globe when the facts show the truth as being opposite of what is being presented by the mainstream media. We know that the Obama administration is a continuation of many of the political policies from the previous Bush administration. Much of the Obama team accepts the Milton Friedman Chicago School of economics. The administration is trying to cut cost of living adjustments after promising not to do so back in 2008. The track record of the current administration is real. When you have the Vice President Joe Biden calling for a new world order, then you know what time it is.

China in Our Age The U.S. and China held a two day discussion about issues in California. The Chinese leader, who met with President Barack Obama, is President Xi Jinping. There have been recent U.S./China tensions for a while now. Washington has accused China of cyber warfare against America. Some extremists want to have conflict with Beijing over the hegemony in Asian territories. That is why the Obama administration is using basing deals, military exercises, shows of force, and other diplomatic machinations in the Asia-Pacific region. Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger spoke about President Barack Obama meeting with Xi. He said the following words in the summit at the Asia Forum last Tuesday with these words: "...We are in a situation that we have a common set of problems, if we dont solve them jointly, the whole world will be divided in every part between people who have been pressed to join one model or another. That will be a disaster for the two countries and for the world. The U.S. wants to have the U.S. economic and strategic pressure. Obama wants Beijing to comply with what he feels is economic fairness in the world. That means China must accept U.S. currency manipulation and U.S. corporations to influence Chinese economic services. America wanted Beijing to have the pretext of discussing the Pentagon's allegations (of China and the People's Liberation Army hacking U.S. government including military facilities). Washington has not shown conclusive evidence to prove their allegations. America wants Beijing to follow more economic and strategic concessions. Strangely, America has been involved in cyber-espionage, targeted malware attacks, and online surveillance. The West allowed the Stuxnet computer worm to attack Iran's nuclear facilities. The U.S. surveillance state wiretapped the Associated Press. It has collected the phone records of tens of millions of Americans. It has tapped directly into the central servers of Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, Paltalk, AOL, Skype, YouTube and Apple to collect personal user data. Unsubstantiated US allegations of cybercrimes against China pale before this onslaught. The U.S. wants national security and intelligence officials to use U.S. cyber-attacks. These actions are to advance: "...US national objectives around the world. The directive stated: The secretary of defense, the DNI [Director of National Intelligence], and the director of the CIA shall prepare for approval by the president through the National Security Advisor a plan that identifies potential systems, processes and infrastructure against which the United States should establish and maintain OCEO [Offensive Cyber Effects Operations] capabilities. These are pre-emptive attacks against foreign countries. The domestic cyberattack would require the authorization of the President except in the case of an emergency. There is the issue of North Korea. Washington is using bluster at North Korea as a means to

increase its pivot to Asia. That is why in March; the U.S. used practice bombing runs with nuclear capable B-52 and B-2 bombers near North Korea. North Korea responded with a missile launch. Washington increased its military presence in the region, expanded its antiballistic missile system, and wanted Beijing to break economic including political ties with Pyongyang. China used North Korea as a buffer state between itself and South Korea (or the U.S. ally in the region). Some in China distanced themselves from North Korea, because they did not want America to escalate its military presence in East Asia. China even cut off financial ties with North Korea's largest foreign exchange bank. They leaked contingency plans for the replacement of Kim Jong-Un to the German press. North Korea now wanted talks with Seoul and reopened the hotline which was shut down during the March standoff. The Pentagon will have joint exercises in Japan in of southern California. China wanted these exercises to be called off. The USA refused to do so. Imperialism by the West is still common. *China also needs to stop forced abortions, restrictions on the Internet, the evil one child policy, and other violations to human liberties as well. So, both nations need to clean their own houses.

A Neglected Issue

One of the most unreported stories in American society is the plight of black Americans. Everything in the Universe is not golden. It is disgrace that even in America; millions of human beings go hungry at all. The economic misery against Black America has been around for centuries, but it still persists in this era of terrorism. There has been little to no attention given to the high unemployment rate of African American in rural and urban communities in America. This circumstance has not radically improved since 2009. Even with a slow moving economic recovery, black participation in the labor market has been moving downward because of the negative effects of the recession. The White House has made proposals and formulate meetings about this issue for years, but no radical solution to address huge poverty that especially affects low income human beings in the USA as well. The underemployment rate is measured by the extent to which people who usually work full time can't find full time employment. These are made up of human beings who are unemployed completely and folks who work less than full time or less than 35 hours a week. This is due to human beings who have an inability to find more employment, because of economic circumstances. This underemployment rate doesn't include the millions of U.S. citizens who are institutionalized in prisons. Dr. Reginald Clark researched the

unpublished reports of the underemployment rates of various ethnic groups from 2009 to the present. The rate of UNDER-employment for Hispanic Americans has DROPPED from 15% in 2009 to 12% at the end of 2012. This represents an improvement of about 20%. The rate of UNDER-employment for White Americans has DROPPED from 10% in 2009 to 8% at the end of 2012. This represents an improvement of about 20%. The rate of UNDER-employment for Asian Americans has DROPPED from 8% in 2009 to 6% at the end of 2012. This represents an improvement of about 25%. But the picture for Black Americans is in the opposite direction. The rate of UNDER-employment for Blacks has INCREASED from 16% in 2009 to 20% at the end of 2012. This represents a 25% WORSENING in the rate of Black underemployment during Obamas first term in office from 2009 through 2012. This misery among many Black Americans is not just reflected in those statistics. At least 2 million Blacks are in prison and have trouble finding employment. Half the African Americans in prison only have nonviolent drug offenses. This corrupt tough on crime garbage has contributed to the harm of the black community. This nonsense has existed for decades. If these 2 million Black human beings were out of jail and cannot find full time work, then the Black underemployment rate would be 30 percent. The White House's job creation policies is not necessarily stimulating hiring in geographic areas where African Americans mostly reside (except in some areas). The African American unemployment rate is still at 14.3 percent. Since 2009, hundreds of thousands of jobs from Blacks have been lost, especially full time jobs. This deals with things from family wage, home ownership, education, benefits, consumer debt, etc. When you get down to it, Obama's economic policies are heavily neo-liberal and not revolutionary. That is why according

to Think Progress: "...Corporations have been the overwhelming beneficiaries of Obamas policies. Over 88% of all the dollars obtained between 2009 and 2011, 88% of national income growth, went to corporate profits, while just 1% went to wages. So, the high
unemployment rate in the Black Community is a result of the establishment or the powers that be ignoring the employment issues in the Black community as found in urban and rural areas. It is only in February of 2013 when President Barack Obama said overtly that he acknowledged the deleterious role of the federal government's job creation policies on the severe depression in the low income African American communities. He wants to partner with cities as a means to fight this issue. Yet, he made no specific demands, except sending kids to good schools (when many of these schools are expensive), get good jobs which don't exist, and buy nice homes when there is an economic inequality issue in the USA. I will admit that this issue existed long before President Barack Obama was in the White House, so I want to make that clear. The White House is not responsible for all facets of our economic situation. For centuries, the Maafa (created by white supremacists and not all white people) caused a path of oppression or the system of white supremacy that contributes to economic injustices then and now against my black people.

The attacks on affirmative action by reactionaries are not new. It has occurred for decades. Diversity has been given a bare agreement by the Supreme Court, but they have attacked and wanted to destroy affirmative action for years and decades. The modern affirmative action system has been attacked since 35 years ago. Affirmative action was created as a means for African Americans to receive redress over oppression and discrimination. So, the establishment tries to use token diversity as an excuse to not really address the structural systems of white supremacy, poverty, and other evils harming humanity in America. The recent Supreme Court decision was about diversity in education not affirmative action. The Bakke decision in 1978 ended the so-called "quotas" for racial minorities. From that year on, public institutions have been forbidden from pursuing measureable results via program of inclusions of previously excluded classes of human beings. These views have been spoken of by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and even President Lyndon Johnson. The Court reluctantly affirmed the principle of the 2003 University of Michigan Law School decision called Grutter vs. Bollinger. That decision means that public educational institutions can claim a compelling interest in fostering diversity on campus (of using race as one factor out of many to create a diverse campus environment). So, the Supreme Court hates affirmative action so much that they want to use diversity as a way to disguise their hatred. Now, Dr. King in his 1964 book,

called "Why We Can't Wait," mentioned that compensatory or preferential treatment for the Negro an idea that he heartily endorsed. For it is obvious, Dr. King wrote, that if a man is entering the starting line in a race 300 years after another man, he first would have to perform some impossible feat in order to catch up with his fellow runner. Dr. King rightfully wanted a Bill of Rights for the disadvantaged (or give preferences for black Americans just like veterans have). How ironic that those anti-affirmative action extremists cite Dr. King as a source of their "race neutral" rants when Dr. King believed in affirmative action. President Lyndon Johnsons historic speech to the 1965 graduating class of Howard University marked the definitive beginning of affirmative action as public policy. Johnson riffed on Kings metaphor: You do not take a man who for years has been hobbled by chains, liberate him, bring him to the starting line of a race, saying, 'you are free to compete with all the others,' and still justly believe you have been completely fair. This is the next and more profound stage of the battle for civil rights. We seek not just freedom but opportunity not just legal equity but human ability not just equality as a right and a theory, but equality as a fact and as a result." Equality and compensatory treatment have harmed with Bakke. Today, we know the July 2003 decision; it allowed diversity to come about, but never as a means to address racial injustice or demand real results. After Dr. King was assassinated, many of upper middle class abandoned the movement as a means to advance corporate interests, the system of mainstream capitalism, and to be under the 2 party, corporate system (instead of advancing revolutionary solutions). Ironically, special privileges for the super-rich remains. For the rich, they have legacies, inheritances, tax breaks, corporate subsidies, some companies pay no income tax at all, etc. If the super can have all of this and they have oppressed the world for millennia, then the poor and other minorities deserve real justice as well. We will continue to fight for justice in the world completely. There is no doubt about that.

The only real solution is a living wage, a radical redistribution of economic and political power, real universal health care, radical educational reforms, and a strong national employment plan that can benefit all Americans. On the other hand, many black nationalists (made up of real, strong Brothers & Sisters) are right in wanting us (who are black human beings) to develop our own infrastructure, our own power base, our own systems, etc. as a means to more directly assist our own black people.

The 2013 State of the Union address

The 2013 State of the Union address made by President Barack Obama was a combination of numerous truths and errors. It had legitimate words in it and it was mixed with the audacity of Empire not the audacity of hope. It was not change that you can believe. It was change that I don't want to believe on. He said that by the end of next year the war in Afghanistan will be over. It won't, because there will be a small counterinsurgency force in the nation of Afghanistan after most U.S. ground forces leave the nation by the end of 2014. He said that he wanted to assist Libya, Yemen, and Somalia including Mali. Tell that to victims of lynchings and drone attacks in those nations. His actions including the actions of Bush Jr. have grown the global war on terror. The corporate friendly free trade agreements like the Trans-Pacific Partnership are still in existence. The White House said that they want some freedom for the individuals living in the Middle East, but democratic rights are lacking in Bahrain, Qatar, and especially Saudi Arabia (these countries are Western allies indeed). Iran can't have nuclear weapons according to the White House (they just want sanctions in Iran that will harm the human standard of living of innocent human beings of Iran). The immoral targeting of American citizens via assassination is truly a troubling portion of President Barack Obama's foreign policy. This NATO agenda is a continuation after the Bush administration. It is easy to decipher that the Pentagon's agenda is to have western hegemony in the world in competition against Russia plus China. Where necessary, through a range of capabilities, we will continue to take direct action against those terrorists who pose the gravest threat to Americans, he declared. This is in reference to him supporting the drone program. The President said that wants to continue the killing with leaf of transparency and legality, pledging to engage with Congress to ensure our targeting, detention and prosecution of terrorists remains consistent with our laws and system of checks and balances He had to say something like that after a Justice Department white paper would issue some pseudo-legal justification for this war on terror reality (which is heavily unchecked by judicial or congressional oversight). We have a growing police state at home. I can't believe that he or brother Obama supported the imperialist French harming Mali in trying to maintain military juntas at the expense of the deaths of innocent Tuareg scapegoats. Now, he or Mr. Obama loves to use the middle class word. He rarely talks in public about the poor. He or President Barack Obama bragged that he already slashed $2.5 trillion from the deficit via mostly spending cuts. He has proposed more cuts to Medicare and Medicaid. Republicans like Rand Paul and Paul Rubio want even more cuts to our social safety net via their response to the State of the Union made by the President. For the record, Nugent is wrong on many issues. He or Ted Nugent is much worse than Rand Paul and Rubio put together. The President said that he wants more infrastructure funding as a means to grow the economy. He wants more manufacturing jobs in the USA. He hailed the return of manufacturing by Caterpillar, Ford, Intel and Apple to American shores, neglecting to mention that US corporate in-shoring was based on massive cuts in workers wages and benefits.

He made a proposal to raise the minimum wage to 9 dollars an hour. This is a good thing since a higher minimum wage can assist families, but some want it to be higher as a means to comprehensively handle this issue. The Tea Party crowd is really sick to advocate folks working below the poverty line in America to just suffer with extremely low wages. As for universal pre-K, I have no issue with it as long as it is voluntary (and it is affordable without indoctrination, corruption, and so forth). We still have high unemployment in near Depression levels in some locations of the USA. Poverty, hunger, and homelessness are still high. Corporate profits and CEO pay check reach record heights, while workers' wages continue to be low. Two statistics provide a sense of the scale of social inequality in America. During Obamas first term, 93 percent of all income gains went to the richest 1 percent of Americans, and over the period 2007-2010, US median net worth declined by 38.8 percent. Our social inequality ought to be really addressed in America. Wall Street interests continue to harm wages and working conditions in America. The solution is a radical national public program to handle poverty in this country. We have what is left of the social reforms of the 1930s and 1960s. Now, one of the most important sections of the speech deals with the gun rights issue. President Barack Obama believes in gun control. I believe that law abiding citizens should not have their gun rights restricted. Yet, I do agree

with a comprehensive approach in handling this issue like addressing poverty, ending the Drug War, ending the prison industrial complex, ending gun trafficking, promote gun safety, and to have other common sense solutions. We deserve a vote, but not tyranny.
We should have more peace. It is very hypocritical for some to lecture us on gun control when they advocate war mongering in the Middle East and the Motherland via drones, bombs, wars, and allying with terrorists as a means to fight in the war on terror. The state ought to have no monopoly of guns or ammunition at all. The GOP's responses were made by Rubio and Paul. They outlined the

same old talking points of reactionaries. They ignore the fact that the government has created jobs and opportunities for thousands of years in the world. They ignore that economic fairness is superior to Austrian economics. They definitely ignore about how an alert and progressive citizenry can change the whole world. His speech talked about the
environment and energy. So, the speech dealt with a combination of legitimate words (involving Fairness in Paycheck act, in support of the Voting Rights Act, and believing in equality) mixed with proclamations of Empire including quasi austerity rhetoric.

Miscellaneous Issues in Our Age

There have been reactionaries trying to harm the U.S. Postal Service in the world. More of the post office is being privatization. The news media talks about the Post Office having crisis of cutting back Saturday delivery, layoffs, closing offices, etc. Some of the crises are imposed in society. According to Dave Johnson, this crisis is being manufactured as a means to destroy our government and handle the pieces to the billionaires. The reality is that USPS is still the 2nd largest employer in America unlike Walmart. Unlike Walmart, the employees of the USPS are unionized, pay reasonable wages and benefits, and receive no government subsidies. Wal-Mart is known for paying little that employees qualify for government assistance. Since at least 1996, those in the GOP wanted to use schemes as a way to privatize the Postal Service. Back in 2006, Republicans in the Congress pushed through a requirement that the Postal Service pre-fund 75 years of retiree costs. The Postal Service has to pay now for employees who are not even born yet. No other government agency -- and certainly no company -- has to do this. The Postal Service can break even. While the internet and recession have eaten into some of the Postal Services letter business, magazines, books, newsletters, prescriptions, advertising, DVD services like Netflix and many other services still depend on the Postal Service for delivery. And many people for one reason or another still send letters. In a democracy these people are supposed to count, too. The Republicans in Congress forced the Postal Service to remove public use copiers from Post Offices and even blocked the Postal Service from setting up a secure online system that allowed Americans to make monthly bill payments. The USPS Sis meant to be for the people not for privatizers. Now, the elite want to harm the postal service since it is a public service. Even the fiscal cliff has been manufactured heavily by Wall Street interests as a means to force cutbacks in the things that we do in improving our standard of living. The privatization of all public assets is a known goal of the elitists including the CATO Institute. That institute is heavily funded by the Koch brothers. Note: Frederick W. Smith, Chairman & CEO, FedEx Corporation was on the Board of Directors of Cato Institute. FedEx is also a funder of the Cato Institute. Cato's funders also oppose unions because they enable working people to bargain for a larger share of the pie, and the Postal Service is unionized -- the largest remaining union. The CATO's Tad DeHaven hates unions as well. The USPS is known to give mail to rural communities which internet access is limited. The USPS received no taxpayer dollars even.

The CPAC Conference of 2013

CPAC of 2013 is a controversial conference to say the least. Many of the college age kids were in the conference. This is a political conference since CPAC means Conservative Political Action Committee. There is no evidence that the free market is neither perfect nor divine. There is no evidence that trickled down economics is divine or that war mongering is great to adhere to at all. The conference stands for the Republican agenda. Those in that conference want to focus on the next generation of conservatives. Their title is about "America's Future: The Next Generation of Conservatives." Their meeting includes a lot of fear mongering, rumors, and ad hominem attacks with those that disagree with them. There has been controversy in that event. There has been one CPAC participant that tried to defend slavery, which is sick and immoral. One audience member lied and said that slavery was good for African Americans. This was in National Harbor, Maryland. The audience member was 30 year old Scott Terry from North Carolina. After the presenter, K. Carl Smith of Frederick Douglass Republicans, answered by referencing a letter by Frederick Douglass forgiving his former master, the audience member said For what? For feeding him and housing him? Several people in the audience cheered and applauded Terrys outburst. That is CPAC for you. It is one thing to be a conservative for whatever reason. It is quite another to try to defend any portion of the Maafa. Like usual, Terry had a Rick Santorum sticker, wore a Confederate flag emblazoned t-shirt, and wanted segregation too occur in America. He said that he wanted black human beings to be subservient to whites. This racist mentality is common among numerous members of CPAC and the Tea Party movement. Even an African American audience member was challenged in the event by bigots in the event. The token K. Carl Smith tried to blame a black reporter instead of the white racist audience member for the whole controversy. That is typical for folks like that. The reporter just asked a question, which she had every right to do. You know why I could never be a Republican or a CPAC supporter. Well, there you go. The reality is that slavery is always wrong and all men are created equal. To be fair, not every CPAC believe in the ignorant, unintelligent words from Scott Terry. Now, Mitt Romney, Marco Rubio, and other spoke in the CPAC event as well. When you look at the truth, the truth is apparent and abundant. Paul Ryan's budget is nothing more than the reiteration of his previous offerings that includes huge cuts to Pell Grants including necessary parts of the social safety net. Sarah Palin made a slick, ad hominem attack filled speech about the President. He compared the White House to a reality TV show, but she was once on a reality TV show from TLC. That is hypocrisy. Palin made the racist comment that the President

should allow authorities to check his ID or questioning his citizenship. The GOP is in a crossroads. They can oppose the Violence against Women Act or go into the 21st century. They can follow the McCarthyite views of Cruz or embrace tolerable, accurate thinking. Now, it is not just one party involved in evil. The UN recently said that the U.S. drone war in Pakistan violates international law.

*There has been a large discussion about Dr. Ben Carson. Dr. Ben Carson is a great surgeon among Americans. Dr. Carson is a neurosurgeon. He claims to be non-partisan and to be above the political fray. Yet, he speaks at the establishment conservative CPAC convention. He is allied with the conference since he speaks at it. What is the truth about Dr. Carson? I have researched this controversy to see the truth. The truth is apparent. Dr. Ben Carson is right to believe in the power of the individual and personal responsibility. Yet, I believe that he omits the structural imperfections in the society that influences poverty and oppression. Sometimes, we need revolutionary change with help from the public sector too not just from the private sector as privatization has harmed communities throughout the world. Wardell Connerly, Shelby Steele, and Clarence Thomas are even more extreme than Dr. Ben Carson in wanting to end affirmative action, Head Start, and other social programs that are public. Also, folks like Steele omit the huge voter suppression efforts by the reactionaries against the brothers and sisters of America (including other human beings). Dr. Ben Carson in his 2013 CPAC speech was in error to make the following words: "...Nobody is starving on the streets (of America). We have always taken care of them. We have churches which actually are much better mechanisms for taking care of the poor because they are right there with them. This is one of the reasons we give tax breaks to churches... The truth is that folks are starving in America every single day and over 40 million Americans lack health care in the USA alone. The churches can contribute to help the less fortunate, but also the government too as a part of maintaining the general welfare of society. Dr. Ben Carson made contributions in the field of medicine. He is the first surgeon to separate conjoined twins and the youngest man to head a surgical department. Dr. Ben Carson has a great work ethic and a commitment to excellence. Dr. Ben Carson knowingly or unknowingly presents words that try to give reactionaries a justification to try to destroy completely the social safety net in America. Carson believes in the falsehood that any poor person that is not middle class or rich lacks drive, initiative, is dependent on the government, or has personal failure. Some folks are poor, because of discrimination, oppression, and socioeconomic factors. These human beings still have a huge work ethic, but they are scapegoated by a corrupt society. Many even black conservatives benefited from the system or public assistance. Wardell

Connerly received assistance to grow his business form the 8 (a) Program. Even Justice Clarence Thomas was a beneficiary of Affirmative action. There is still systemic oppression against Americans. Individual success means nothing if collectively my people are suffering massively. Dr. Ben Carson made the false statement that socialism was a reaction to America since Europeans wanted to redistributed wealth. Socialism was a term attributed to both Pierre Leroux and Robert Owen in ca. 1827. Socialist ideals about common and public ownership transpired all throughout human history in the thousands of years of human history. Modern socialism came in reaction to the industrial revolution. Carson is wrong to assume that people don't want to talk about God. The First Amendment allows humans to talk about God. I love to invoke God in public and in private, but I will not use religion as an excuse to have ill feelings toward those of different backgrounds for all humans without exception ought to have equal protection under the law. Dr. Ben Carson refuses to talk about race or racial oppression. When Dr. Carson criticized the Affordable Care Act, Dr. Carson wanted a health savings account for newborns not a universal single payer health care system. Fox News loves him since Dr. Carson is a critic of the Barack Obama administration. Dr. Carson says that he is Independent ideologically, but he shares similar political views as Sean Hannity. The reality is that rugged individualism never worked neither does the bootstraps philosophy. What works are radical changes in society that ends cartel-capitalism. Dr. Carson ought to be respected for his legitimate achievements in medicine. He has the right to his views without ad hominem attacks and invectives. Yet, folks have the right to disagree with him on some issues as well. I don't agree with him on some economic and other political issues. He is right that black people have the right to have independent thinking and the Democratic Party and the GOP ought not to be worshipped as deities at all. Dr. Ben Carson has great character in his life and he loves his family. I just disagree with him on some issues. Also, Dr. Ben Carson needs to realize that white supremacy is an enemy that ought to be rid from the face of the Earth. The establishment conservatives are still the

wolves and the establishment liberals are still the foxes. They are 2 sides of the same coin and we as human beings have the right to build our own chessboard not bowing down to the Republican/Democrat chessboard. I will be about my business and the truth.

The Legacy of George W. Bush

Recently, many Presidents paid tribute to George W. Bush as a means to open up a Presidential library opening. It has been over 4 years since George W. Bush has been out of office. We live in the Obama era presently. When he or George W. Bush was President, I was 17 years old at the end of the year 2000. I was a teenager. I was a Senior in High School. It was a different time. During that period, I was still growing physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. It was the end of the old school era and it was the beginning of taking the technological age into a whole different level. It was a time of controversy and the beginning of the massive political divisions that we see today in such a high level (since the days of Vietnam). He was selected President, because the Supreme Court allowed the stopping of the voting count in Florida. Researchers have exposed voter suppression and voter fraud in Florida during the 2000 Presidential election. So, George W. Bush was selected as President of the United States by the Supreme Court. For folks who lived in our generation, the Bush administration was very recent. It was part of the first decade of the 21st century. The dedication ceremony for the George W. Bush Presidential Center was at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. The American political elite filled with Democrats and Republicans express their unity with each other. Their unity outlines the unity in the political establishment. President Barack Obama including the former Presidents Jimmy Carter, George H. W. Bush, and Bill Clinton were there to celebrate one of the most controversial President in American history. The Bush Jr. administration oversaw tens of millions die via an illegal war, torture, and corporate criminality. President Barack Obama issued praise for George W. Bush. Vice President Dick Cheney was there. The whole situation was made up a collection of current and former foreign leaders and lawmakers including hundreds of former Bush

administration officials and thousands of his admirers. President Barack Obama said the following to the audience: The first thing I found in that desk the day I took office was a letter from George [W. Bush], and one that demonstrated his compassion and generosity. Obama mentioned about Bush being compassionate 2 times. Yet, the historical record says something different. Bush executed over 152 human beings as Governor of Texas. That is more than any other governor in modern American history. He launched the unprovoked war of Iraq. Millions of human beings died in that affair where the whole Iraqi nation was destroyed. His supporters claim that Bush did positive things for Africa and fought against the one child policy in China. They have forgotten that George W. Bush also aided Africom, which is a militarized armed unit in Africa. Some of Bushs African HIV/AIDS Program did assisted numerous human beings in Africa. Yet, much of it was underfunded. The reality, as the news agency Reuters

reported earlier in 2007, is that food donations to the worlds hungry have fallen to their lowest level since 1973. The impending crisis, which threatens starvation for sections of the worlds 850 million people facing hunger, is driven by the capitalist market. Food prices have soared, in no small part due to the drive by the US to promote the production of cornbased ethanol as an alternative to gasoline. As for AIDS funding, Bushs presentation of Washingtons role obscures the fact that the US ranks fifth among donor nations relative to the size of their national economies. He allowed the authorization of detainees at U.S. military bases
and secret sites around the Earth. Obama said that Bush is a good man and he is comfortable in his own skin. The reality is that George W. Bush knew about what he was doing. His family is made up of mid-level members of the establishment and he gloated about his intellectual weaknesses. The corporate, military, and intelligence forces used him in order to fulfill their agendas. Many of the most controversial eras of the Bush Presidency was the aftermath of 9/11 in 2001, the 2003 invasion of Iraq, the response to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, his decision in January 2007 to send an additional 30,000 troops to Iraq (or the troop surge), and his fall 2008 decision to bail out the banks after the financial collapse of 2007. The Bush administration legacy has included aggression against defenseless peoples. The indifference to the American poor, and devotion to the financial aristocracy is a part of the Bush legacy. Some of these policies even continue now with kill lists and the administration claiming the right to murder U.S. citizens without a trial or charges being laid. Many Americans believed that voting for Obama in November 2008 would be an antidote to the Bush/Cheney regime. Yet, it was not the antithesis of the Bush regime. It was similar. The military and police state mobilization is still here after the evil terrorist attacks in Boston. The working class and the homeless are victims and scapegoats of our reality. Bush Sr. was there in a wheelchair at the celebration of the George W. Bush Presidential Library. Even the liberal establishment can't apologize for the continuation of imperialism and drone attacks still occurring in 2013. We should disagree with the neo-colonial policies of the West. With these facts known, I believe that the

mainstream political system is corrupt and ought to be replaced with a real, fair system.

Health Care is a Human Right Representative John Conyers Jr. of Michigan reintroduced HR 676 or the The Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act. The bill wants to establish a privately delivered publicly financed universal health care system. The bill will allow physicians and nonprofit health care providers to be in charge of medical decisions not insurance companies. HR 676 would expand and improve the highly popular Medicare program and provide universal access to care to all Americans. The funding of this program is done by a real, modest payroll tax on employees and employers, a financial transaction tax, and higher taxes on the wealthiest Americans. HR 676 has been introduced in Congress since 2003. There has been a broad base of support among universal health care activists, organized labor, physicians, and social justice organizations across the nation. The bill has been supported by 26 international unions, Physicians For A National Health Program, two former editors of the New England Journal of Medicine, National Nurses United, the American Medical Students Association, Progressive Democrats of America, and the NAACP. During the last Congress, 77 other members of the House of Representatives signed on as cosponsors of the legislation. In 2011, the Vermont legislature passed legislation that laid the foundation for a single payer health care system in the state. Representative Conyers issued this statement following the release of the bill: I am pleased to announce the reintroduction of H.R. 676, The Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act, in the 113th Congress. I have introduced the bill in each Congress since 2003 and I will continue to do so until the bill is passed, said Conyers. A single payer system is better than the status quo indeed. We have higher premiums, high out of pocket costs and other issues in the health care system that is overly dependent on private insurance plans. The Affordable Care Act is just the beginning, because a real nonprofit universal single payer health care system is a better way to contain health care system (and give quality care for all Americans).

Canada pays taxes for universal healthcare and now they are richer than us in many arenas. There is a battle going on between the Governor of Maine and the Maine Legislature over the opportunity offered by the federal Affordable Care Act (to expand the MaineCare program). The proponents of the expansion of MaineCare are justified in their arguments on both moral and economic grounds. The expansion will give health care coverage for almost 70,000 low income Mainers who will otherwise receive no assistance from the ACA. More coverage would cause better management of the huge, burgeoning level of chronic illness as the population ages. This reality will drive down the use of expensive crisis oriented emergency services as well as the illness inducing stress produced by out of control health care bills in low income patients (already afflicted by poor health). 100 percent of the costs of the proposed expansion will be borne by the federal government for at least the first three years of the program (gradually reduced to 90 percent by 2020). That means that MaineCare expansion under the ACA can give significant economic benefits to Maine via federal dollars. Jobs can be created by this situation too. There is a new study released recently by the Maine Center for Economic Policy and Maine Equal Justice Partners. It found that if MaineCare expanded under the terms of the ACA, it would stimulate more than $350 million in economic activity, lead to the creation of 3,100 new jobs, and will result in the generation of up to $18 million in state and local taxes. The Legislature has refused to override the governor's veto of the expansion. Therefore, these federal dollars (including those originating from Maine taxpayers) and their associated benefits will go to other states that accept deal. Some opponents of the expansion made the silly argument that the feds will not keep their word even if it is now written into the law. They claim that folks won't be able to get rid of the extra costs should they renege on their commitment. Others are philosophically opposed to bigger government even if it can help the general welfare of humankind. Some disagree with MaineCare out of spite, which is a disgrace. The PL 90 health insurance reform law was passed by the Republican legislature in 2011. Now, there are older, rural Mainers pitted against younger, urban ones. This discrimination is the basis of the insurance business. Some reactionaries hate Medicaid. In Canada, their tax dollars pay for their health care to those who can't afford it on their own. Health care is a human right. In some nations, they finance their publicly administered systems through broad-based taxes or a simplified system of tax-like, highly regulated premiums. Participation is mandatory and universal. Taxes advance the general welfare of society. Oliver Wendell Holmes once said, Taxes are what we pay for a civilized society. The wealthy pay more because they have benefited more. Most folks in Canada love their health care system and now the average Canadian is wealthier than the average American. The Canadian Parliament is not opposing the Canadian health care system at all. Universal health care is still the goal at the end of the day.
We know more information about the ACA or Obamacare. We know now about its strengths and its numerous errors. The law mandates citizens to buy coverage from private insurance companies, which is highly troubling to say the least. The idea of a mandate to purchase insurance is a reactionary Republican invention. The foundation of the law deals with the growing of a mostly privatized healthcare system that excludes the sickest and poorest. The healthcare we have now is more tiered to medical coverage at our expense. There are new developments about this issue. If you hand over state money to big insurance at the detriment of the people, then you have corporatism and borderline fascism not freedom or pragmatism. Many Republican lawmakers refuse to expand Medicaid in various states. Florida Governor Scott even opposed the ACA and Medicaid expansion until the state legislature and the federal

government approved their plan to take Medicaid money from the expanded coverage and give it to the insurance companies. The government and big insurance corporations helped to write the ACA law. This doesn't mean that the free market is God. It is not God, because look at the pipeline spills, the Gulf rig pills, and the plants explosions like the recent one in Texas that unfortunately murdered innocent human beings. The full effect of the Affordable Care Act will happen in the future. The ACA has much complexity and some fear that thousands of people will remain uninsured while health costs will rise. We have 48 million Americans lacking health coverage. The reality is that the bankers control much of these industries as a means to control the lives of the people. Another 29 million are underinsured with poor coverage. The reason for this is that we have a fragmented, highly inefficient system. As high as 31 percent of U.S. health care spending goes toward administrative costs not care itself. That is why populists want single payer health care system where on plan will cover all citizens regardless of employment status, age, income, or health status. Having a public fund that pays for care will slash administrative inefficiencies (and profit taking by the private insurance industry). Physicians and hospitals would continue to compete with one another based on service, quality of care and reputation. The chief difference is that they would bill a single entity for their services, rather than numerous insurers. The nonpartisan U.S. General Accounting Office concluded that single- payer health care would save the United States nearly $400 billion per year, enough to cover all of the uninsured. Some want this system in the state of Minnesota. In the final analysis, working people and non-working people of all ethnic and social backgrounds can create an united front as a means to make Wall Street accountable (and to extract from Wall Street the necessary means to have housing, health care, jobs, education, mass transit, and other benefits in the world society). There have been protests nationwide against proposed cuts to Social Security from Washington, D.C. to Newark. The Peoples Organization for Progress held demonstrations, in Newark, New Jersey, to protest President Obamas proposed cuts to Social Security and other entitlement programs. Many big Foundations have infiltrated social movements including the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. That is why we need to have independent organizations in helping all of the people. Human beings want freedom without exploitation including without imperialism.

The Republican Internal Debate

There has been an ideological war in the GOP. It is Chris Christie and Rep. John King disagreeing with Senator Rand Paul's views. Rand Paul accuses Chris Christie of exploiting 9/11 and the endless war on terror as an excuse to strip constitutional rights and fleecing the American people (in his mind). This is an interesting debate in the GOP. There is the national security Republicans vs. the civil libertarian, anti-war Republicans. The future heart and soul of the Republicans is unknown, but we see this debate now. Rep. King of New York said that Rand Paul went too far by defending former NSA analyst Edward Snowden. Regardless of the truth behind Snowden, he should not be unfairly killed at all. Edward was given temporary asylum by Russia for one year recently. King is wrong to defend the NSA warrantless wiretap program. The abuse of the national security surveillance state is in epidemic levels. The police brutality in the world is definitely in epidemic levels as well. I thought it was absolutely disgraceful that so many Republicans voted to defund the NSA program, which has done so

much to protect our country, said King. This is an isolationist streak thats in our party. It goes totally against the party of Eisenhower, and Reagan, Bush. I mean, we are a party of national defense. Were a party who did so much to protect the country over the last 12 years. The reality is that real folks never advocate isolationism. We just disagree with imperialism, unjust wars, and economic exploitation by foreign banks even. We have the right to defend human rights and many legitimate constitutional principles. I will never endorse a foreign policy filled with drone strikes, filled with funding terroristic rebels, or filled with Guantanamo Bay having harsh interrogation techniques inflicted on human beings (many of whom are not high level terrorists at all). I have looked at both sides and here are my views on this issue. Rand Paul is more accurate on foreign policy matters including the NSA issue than Rep. King, who is a blatant neo-conservative type of man. Yet, all of them are wrong on other issues indeed. Rand Paul is still incorrect to ally with the Tea Party movement. The Tea Party has been known to advance radical reactionary politics in the United States. Much religious intolerance, racism, bigotry, militarism, anti-immigrant chauvism, and some corporate Republican backing has infiltrated much of the Tea Party movement. Rand Paul and many of his allies are in love with laissez faire capitalism. Some of them even want to bash the Occupy Wall Street movement in a foul way when OWS has been unjustly monitored by the FBI for years. The reactionaries are known for blaming the poor for their own suffering completely. They refuse to expose Wall Street corruption. That is why I do not agree with destroying all of Social Security. I do not agree with eliminating all funding to the Federal Department of Education. Not all regulations are evil and having a fair wage is not evil in my eyes. We need to have workers' living standards and being against discrimination. Real unions have fought historically to defend job safety and workers' rights. That is why we need real taxes on the rich and corporations, so revenues can be generated as a means to assist workers including the poor. As for New Jersey receiving emergency money from the federal government to help rebuild the state, I have no issue with that. Rand Paul is wrong on that issue. Therefore, the truth is real. We need human civil liberties, but we also have the right to maintain the social safety net as well. Now, it is our responsibility to be for the human people indeed.

Sequester
We know about the austerity agenda. Even the New Simpson Bowles plan is worse than their

first one. Simpson is a piece of work to spew his propaganda. Austerity is proven to hurt the economy and just look at Europe. You have to control the deficit in the long term and have immediate, real stimulus now in order for jobs to be creation (inflation is in record lows now). Still, America is not totally broke, but our priorities need to be fixed. We need investments in job creation. This agenda is being advanced under the guise of defending the
middle class" but the establishment will not execute real radical solutions for the poor. Some in both parties want to slash social spending since they believe that this action is part of a balanced approach. Some Congressional Republicans even wanted more draconian cuts to domestic social programs since some of them love Mammon not the social betterment of the general welfare of society. Back room discussions about this issue continue between the White House and congressional leaders of both parties. We will see a sequester in March 1. This is when there is an $85 billion in across the board spending cuts will take effect. By March 27, there is the expiration of authorization for spending by all federal government departments. The sequester is a result of the 2011 Budget Control Act. This act was bipartisan deal among Obama and congressional Republicans. The March 27 cut off comes as a result of the expiration of another bipartisan agreement. The six month continuing resolution passed last October to avoid a shutdown of the federal government during the 2012 election campaign. If sequester occurs, budgets cuts will come against defense spending and domestic social programs as well. The military cuts will have a marginal effect in the vast Pentagon budget, but it will negatively affect many jobs in this country in a wrong fashion. The total Pentagon budget is bigger than the next 15 countries in the world.

The domestic cuts from sequester spare Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Yet, it will be disastrous for other programs like Head Start education for pre-kindergarten children (with as many as 70,000 poor children). The cuts will be nearly 500 billion dollars in domestic spending over the next ten years. These cutbacks include an estimated 600,000 women and children losing food stamps. 100,000 formerly homeless human beings will lose their government financed housing. Federal support would be gone for 7,200 school employees who serve special needs children. Job safety and food safety inspectors would face unpaid furloughs. Federal loans to small businesses would be reduced by 500 million dollars.

President Barack Obama is right to say that doing nothing on sequester will cause thousands of federal layoffs and have a huge blow to the middle class and the economy as well. On the other hand, he wants to have a grand bargain with the Republicans as a many to handle deficit reduction (which is a slick phrase of quasi austerity). This bargain will include cuts to Medicare and other things. Social Security could be cut too. The President wants deficit reduction measures as a means to handle the sequester. He wants a mix of spending cuts and the closure of tax loopholes. He wants to have a pay raise for federal civilian workers of only one percent. According to the National Treasury Employees Union, federal workers have already accounted for $103 billion in deficit-reduction from the pay freeze and increased pension contributions. Since statutory pay guidelines call for at least a 1.8 percent pay raise, matching the level in equivalent non-government jobs, Obamas 1.0 percent raise would take another $18 billion out of the pockets of federal workers. The White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer, in a blog post on the White House web site, decried the refusal of the Republicans to close loopholes for millionaires and billionaires. That is funny since it is reported that Obama will name his longtime financial backer Penny Pritzker, heiress to the billion-dollar Hyatt Hotel fortune, as his next secretary of commerce, and choose the CEO of REI sportswear, Sally Jewell, a former Mobil oil executive, for the post of secretary of the interior. The President doesn't want massive cuts to the military. Even outgoing Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta doesn't want a minor trim in Pentagon spending. Some Tea Party reactionaries want the sequester to go ahead since they want the gutting of federal domestic spending. Other Republicans want to fight sequester and many of them are linked to the military intelligence apparatus (including neo cons that loved the Iraq War like William Kristol, Robert Kagan, Paul Bremer and Elliott Abrams, as well as Robert Gates, defense secretary in both the Bush and Obama administrations), and former senators Joseph Lieberman, Jim Talent (a top Romney adviser) and Norm Coleman. Other Senate Democrats have shown a measure where they cut the Pentagon budget. The military cuts would be offset by equivalent deficit reduction through cuts in farm subsidies and implementation of the so-called Buffett Rule imposing a minimum tax rate on multi-millionaires.

The sequestration debate ignores many issues. Everyone is talking about it. Each of the major parties blames each other for it. Many GOP members including the heads of the Democratic Party advanced sequestration since day one. The Left/Right paradigm is involved in this issue. For example,

the Left paradigm wants cuts to military spending and none to domestic programs while the Right paradigm wants no cuts to military spending and cuts to domestic programs (especially the Tea Party types). We know that sequestration again is an across board cuts in all levels of government spending. The bigger picture is that tremendous savings can be received out of military and domestic spending without reducing services to either. We
find that the military is wasting bucket loads of money on non-defense costs. BusinessWeek and Bloomberg document about how we can slash military spending without harming national security. That means to slash boondoggles that even the Generals dont desire. Many aircraft are coming that even some in the Army doesn't need. BusinessWeek gave a list of cost cutting measures that will not undermine national security. This is about eliminating the pork without harming jobs. Yet some small government Republican hypocritically lecture us on small government, but they want huge Pentagon contracts to exist along with the defense business to spread imperialism worldwide. The military wastes trillions of dollars. The Secretary of Defense back in May 2012 admitted that the DoD is the only major federal agency that cannot pass an audit today. The Pentagon will not be ready for an audit for another five years, according to Panetta. Even Senator Tom Coburn said that the Department of Defense can reduce $67.9 billion over 10 years by eliminating the non-defense programs that have found their way into the budget for the Department of Defense. Coburn said that the wastes of taxpayer dollars involve the $100,000 Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency strategy planning workshop including a session entitled Did Jesus die for Klingons too? that entailed a panel debating the implications for Christian philosophy should life be found on other planets. Other wasteful spending projects include DOD-run microbreweries and a DOD and Department of Agriculture co-produced reality cooking show called Grill It Safe." Billions of dollars spent in the war on terror. The war on terrorism weakens our national security, increases terrorism, and harms our economy as well. The military industrial

complex, the expanding Homeland Security, and imperialist foreign policy are harmful for our economic development indeed. Domestically, we have wasted taxpayer money on Wall Street banks instead of breaking up the big banks to save the economy (as advanced by independent economists and financial experts). The bailouts are not stopping either. They continue to this very day. The government has advanced the interests of the big banks over Main Street. The handful of the wealthiest human beings are having record profits while economic inequality grows even under Obama. Trillions are sucked from the real economy when they are given to the banks. Wealth is being redistributed from the poor to the rich. Even the Bank for International Settlement (one of the strongest central banking organizations on Earth) warned in 2008 that the bailouts of the big banks would create sovereign debt crises, which could bankrupt nations. Treasury Secretary Paulson shoved bailouts down Congress throat by threatening martial law if the bailouts weren't passed. The bailout money has subsidized companies to allow bankers to get bonuses, and other unnecessary things. A large personage of the bailouts can into foreign banks. We should prosecute big white collar criminals not embrace oligarchy. Fraud influenced the Great Depression and that is why fraud was exposed in that time period. Some big corporations pay no taxes.

The source of our real budget deficit comes from unnecessary military projects, waste and fraud in the military, the war on terror, war profiteering, endless bailouts for the big banks, crony capitalism, bad economic policies, failure to enforce laws, shipping jobs overseas, and sending trillions of dollars in a faulty banking system. So, we should have investments, and job creating policies in the public and private sectors. We dont have to massively fire those working in domestic and military jobs at all. Yet, we also need to get tough on fraud as well.
Therefore, we wish for the brother and his family to be blessed, to prosper, and to be awaken on some issues. The future in uncertain in many ways, but we know that we will continue to fight for liberty & truth regardless. By Timothy

As a man, I do wish for America to be massively better like we all should irrespective of our political ideological
