WALK IT OUT for Multiple Sclerosis!

The Student Health Service and the Greek community at Chico State would like to invite you to participate in a fundraising walk to benefit people suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. The majority of all proceeds from this walk will go directly to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The Event The WALK IT OUT for Multiple Sclerosis! fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 11, beginning at the Chico State Recreation Fields and traveling through One-Mile in Bidwell Park, then back to the downtown City Plaza for an MS Information Fair with booths and vendors. We hope to have at least 1,000 participants in this event and raise $10,000 for MS. We are currently looking for businesses to make donations or to become sponsors of this event. Attached is a list of different sponsorship opportunities. *Recognition during the MS information fair. * Your businesss logo printed on various promotional materials. *Printed recognition in the Chico Enterprise Record and the Orion. *A great way to promote your business in the community.

About Multiple Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic, often disabling disease that Sclerosis attacks the central nervous system. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the lips, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another. Approximately 400,000 Americans have MS, and every week about 200 people are diagnosed. World-wide, MS affects about 2.5 million people. Most people are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, although individuals as young as two and as old as 75 have developed it.
