I have built up the company from scratch, without any financial help from bank or
institutions. My technical, management, communication and follow up skills have helped me
to get all important contracts for design, installation, commissioning and maintenance
servicing of all kinds of fire fighting and fire detection plants and equipments. I have had the
opportunity to work with all important organizations such as Reserve bank of India, State
bank of India, HDFC bank, Axis bank (UTI), World Trade Centre, IDBI, Indian oil
corporation, Godrej, Shapoorji Palonji, Rahejas, NCPA, Hotel Holiday Inn, Hotel Sun-n-

This company was manufacturing all kinds of pumps, valves, heavy duty electrical control
panel and other fire fighting equipments. As the head I was reporting directly to the director.
My scope of work included administration, project sales and business development, project
co-ordination, I was expected to get turnkey projects for the company, design, implement and
execute the project.

During my short stint in the company I could manage to get business worth 89 lakhs only. In
the month of May there was major labor problem with the company directors over the issue
of bonus, the directors decided to shut down their business and I had no other options than to
start my our company.

Patma Machinery Ltd

From November’1986 to December’1987
Position: Senior sales and marketing engineer.
I was in charge of marketing plastic reprocessing machineries, cutters, blow molding and
injection molding machineries. My job involved preparing list of most likely clients, keeping
track with competitors, understanding the needs of the clients and accordingly making
adjustments in our products, maintaining healthy and good relations with clients and making
sure that our products are sold. I had achieved fairly good track record in the position of sales
and marketing executive.

Worked in the pump and motor department, carrying out pump testing to calculate the
efficiency of the pumps.

Designed a suitable and effective layout for motor testing arrangement, on which the electric
motors could be tested before they are dispatched.

Worked in the shop floor on various machines such as turret lathe, normal lathe, upsetting
