Gather in His Name

Let His praises fill this temple
As we come into His presence and gather in His name.
Let our voices rise in honor.
We lift up the risen Savior to celebrate and gather in His Name
Shout for joy. Shout for joy.
Shout for joy all the earth, all the earth.
Shout for joy. Shout for joy.
Shout for joy all the earth, all the earth.

Agnus Dei
Alleluia, alleluia,
For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
Alleluia, alleluia,
For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
Alleluia,
Holy, Holy are You Lord God Almighty,
Worthy is the Lamb,
Worthy is the Lamb, (Amen)
You are holy, Holy are You Lord God Almighty,
Worthy is the Lamb,
Worthy is the Lamb, amen.

2
The Collect of the Day

Celebrant The Lord be with you.

People And also with you.
Celebrant Let us pray.

O Lord, you have taught us that without love whatever we do is worth nothing; Send your Holy
Spirit and pour into our hearts your greatest gift, which is love, the true bond of peace and of all
virtue, without which whoever lives is accounted dead before you. Grant this for the sake of your
only Son Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for
ever. Amen.

LITURGY OF THE WORD

Please be seated.

The First Lesson: Revelation 3:14-22

Lector The Word of the Lord.

People Thanks be to God.

3
Psalm 33
To be read as prompted by the lector.

1
Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous.*
Praise befits the upright.
2
Praise the Lord with the lyre;*
make melody to him with the harp of ten strings.
3
Sing to him a new song;*
play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts.
4
For the word of the Lord is upright,*
and all his work is done in faithfulness.
5
He loves righteousness and justice;*
the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.
13
The Lord looks down from heaven;*
he sees all humankind.
14
From where he sits enthroned he watches*
all the inhabitants of the earth—
15
he who fashions the hearts of them all,*
and observes all their deeds.
16
A king is not saved by his great army;*
a warrior is not delivered by his great strength.
17
The war horse is a vain hope for victory,*
and by its great might it cannot save.
18
Truly the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,*
on those who hope in his steadfast love,
19
to deliver their soul from death,*
and to keep them alive in famine.
20
Our soul waits for the Lord;*
he is our help and shield.
21
Our heart is glad in him,*
because we trust in his holy name.
22
Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,*
even as we hope in you.

The Sermon
Please be seated.

5
The Nicene Creed
Please stand.
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,

the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary,
and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,

who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

(Chorus)

You are the One we adore
You give the healing and grace
Our hearts always hunger for
Oh our hearts always hunger for

Counselor Comforter Keeper

Spirit we long to embrace
You offer hope when our hearts
Have hopelessly lost the way
Oh we hopelessly lost the way

Almighty infinite Father

Faithfully loving Your own
Here in our weakness You find us
Falling before Your throne
Oh we're falling before Your throne

11
You Are My King
I'm forgiven because You were forsaken.
I'm accepted; You were condemned.
I'm alive and well, Your Spirit is within me
Because You died and rose again.

Amazing love, how can it be

That You, my King would die for me?
Amazing love, I know it's true;
It's my joy to honor You
In all I do, I honor You.

You are my King, Jesus,
You are my King, Jesus,
You are my King.
