II) Gordons Functional Pattern Functional Pattern Health Perception/ Health Management Before Hospitalization Pt did not go to any

health center or hospital for a regular checkup. he usually do self medication if he feels ill. Pt usually does some house hold chores, and he enjoys singing. During Hospitalization Pt and his family are not are not aware of the disease process. His family believes that hospitalization will help their father for fast recovery. Analysis he didnt go to any health care agency for check up nor physical exam; he thinks that he is physically fit and she does self medication whenever he feels sick. Pt and his family didnt know knowledge about the disease. He didnt able to eat during hospitalization.

Nutritional-Metabolic Pattern

Pt eats variety of foods. he eats 6 times a day. he does not take any vitamins. he is the one who prepare the food for herself.

His diet is on DAT as instructed by the doctor.

Elimination Pattern

he defecates No bowel movement. regularly at least once a day with light medium brown stool and urinates frequently. No pain experienced during urination or defecation. he does household chores and hes fond of drinking alcohol beverages with his friends in his spare Cannot do Passive and active range of motion exercise.

Whenever he feels alone he diverts his self by having conversation with his family and friends. He usually drinks alcoholic beverages with his friends whenever he feels stressed. he is a Roman Catholic who usually goes to church every Sunday or wherever possible to attend mass or even just offer a prayer. He believes in GOD and his son Jesus Christ and knows the importance in her well being. The only thing that he really value in his life is his family.

Because of his current condition the patient does not able to attend the mass every Sunday. His family still believes that God will help them for his fast recovery.
