Specific to the Challenger 1 range of sports lighting, the Abacus Light Control System consists of a series of complementary measures to effectively control the key elements of obtrusive light; namely upward light, glare and overspill.

ULOR
Upward Light Output Ratio The % of upward light produced is given at the stated elevation (maximum working elevation of the floodlight).

An asymmetric distribution floodlight range used primarily for side lighting sports systems including roof mounting in stadiums.

10 Year Sports Maintenance Plans
The Abacus Plus-10 plans offer your club more than other similar plans available. Abacus takes a proactive, not reactive approach to maintenance, we offer a comprehensive programme which maintains your Abacus system for the 10 year term of the agreement.

Included in the Abacus Plus-10 plans are:
