Introduction to Web 2.

0 The growth in the use of the internet led many researchers to develop new programs or tools that help users do their tasks without having to know a lot about computer programming or internet technologies. This gave rise to the coined term Web 2.0. Web 2.0 is a collection of programs found on the internet making communication, collaboration, and all other tasks in the internet easy. This also includes cloud computing where users store and share files on the web. Instead of having programs in the computer, the browser is used and the user will have an automatic access to a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation tools and lots more. This collection of programs constantly grows in number, and any user may be making one soon. Web 2.0 Tools

Diigo is a free social bookmarking, research, and knowledge sharing tool created to mimic the ease of taking notes while providing a network for sharing and discovering information.

Conceptboard is a service that provides an online whiteboard space that you can use to share drawings, documents, spreadsheets, and more. You can create drawings and diagrams from scratch or upload an existing file that you have. You can invite as many people as you want to have an online conversation about whatever is shared on the whiteboard. Notes can be pinned to specific items on the whiteboard so that there is not any confusion about what each note is related to.
