PLANNING INFORMATION: EFFECTIVITY: All 250-C20 Engine Assemblies prior All 250-C20B Engine Assemblies prior ~ REASON: to S/N CAE 822566. to S/N CAE 830033.
To prevent fretting on the compressor scroll-to-governor tee air tube (CECO controls) or the PC filter-to-governor tee and the governor-to-fuel control tubes (Bendix controls) resulting from non-cushioned igniter lead support clamps. The two non-cushioned MS122902 Clamps used with the Bendix control system and the one MS122902 Clamp used with the CECO control system to support the igniter lead from fuel system air tubes are replaced with P/N 6749387-03 or MS9825-03 Cushioned Clamps. Also, longer bolts are used with the cushioned clamps.

It is recommended that the operator inspect the PC air tube(s) for fretting at the clamping point(+. If fretting of the tube is present, replace the tube and install a new clamp as defined herein. If none is present, this bulletin should be accomplished no later than next overhaul. FAA-DER Approved.
APPROVAL: MANPOWER:
This bulletin will require approximately 0.2 man-hours to complete in the field. No additional time is required at time of overhaul.

CECO Control System. A. Replace MS122902 Clamp on the compressor scroll-to-governor tee air tube with P/N 6749387-03 or MS9825-03 Clamp. (See Figure 1.) Replace AN101006 Bolt with AN101007 Bolt.
B. II.
Bendix Control System. A. Replace MS122902 Clamps on the PC filter-to-governor tee tube and the governor-to-fuel control tube with P/N 6749387-03 or MS9825-03 Clamps. (See Figure 1.) Replace two AN101006 Bolts with AN101007 Bolts.

Record compliance with 250 CEB-1065 in the Engine Assembly (white pages), Modification Record, Part III of the Engine Log Book.
