MPH@GW is an innovative new program from the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services (SPHHS). By utilizing next-generation social technology, we now offer a one-of-a-kind program that offers students from anywhere in the world the chance to earn a top-tier MPH online. Enrollment comes with all of the advantages and benefits of a traditional on-campus program, and the degree is the same as that which is awarded to on-campus students. As an MPH@GW student, youll be measured by the same rigorous standards as students on campus. Live classes are taught by the same world-class faculty, all of whom are acknowledged public health leaders and recognized experts in their field. Established in 1997, the School of Public Health and Health Services (SPHHS) brought together the best of three longstanding university programs in the schools of medicine, business and education that have since expanded substantially. Today, more than 1,100 students from nearly every U.S. state and more than 40 countries around the globe pursue undergraduate, graduate and doctoral-level degrees in public health at SPHHS. Our student body is one of the most ethnically diverse of private schools of public health. MPH@GW features intimate class sizes and students are offered full access to GW library resources, student services and career services.

Applying to MPH @GW


ADMISSIONS
Admissions requirements and standards for MPH@GW are identical to those for the on-campus program. Your academic abilities and record must meet the demands of our program. Because all classes are conducted in English, you must be fluent in both written and spoken English. To earn our MPH, you must successfully complete 45 units of academic credit. Courses begin in June, September, January and March and full-time students can complete the program in two years; part-time study is also an option. The total 2013 cost of the MPH@GW program is $56,160. To apply, you must submit the following: Online application Application fee or waiver Statement of Purpose Two letters of recommendation Official transcripts in English from all previous schools A current resume Official, current GRE scores*
