Dear Representative Heller,
I am an elected Republican Delegate in the Great State of Nevada. As a fellow Republican, I ask
you to please support HR 833 "Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act."
Our Republican Platform (20082010) states:
Plank #2. All legislation, Federal Agencies, and public servants must adhere to a literal interpretation of
the U.S. Constitution and as instructed by the Tenth Amendment, in conjunction with Article 1, Section
8.
Plank #12. We support the repeal of the Federal Reserve Act and the return of the power of minting and
coining money to the Congress of the United States as so stated in the Constitution. In addition we
demand a return to a gold and/or silver backed currency as provided for in the U.S. Constitution.
...Please keep that in mind as you read this letter.
Today I am sending you this letter as part of an international effort to end the United States
Federal Reserve by passing HR833 "Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act" into legislation. If you are
not yet familiar with this bill, please learn about it because it is vital to our economic future. You can
read the fulltext of the bill at http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111833
Here are some reasons to SUPPORT HR833 Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act:
1. "The Federal Reserve System virtually controls the nation's monetary system, yet it is accountable to
no one. It has no budget, it is subject to no audit, and no Congressional Committee knows of, or can
truly supervise it's operations."
Murray N. Rothbard
(Despite the name, the Federal Reserve is NOT owned, operated, or controlled by Congress or any
other governmental agency. It is a privately owned company that is allowed to print and loan money to
our country, and they even charge us interest...)
2. Congress shall have the right, "To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof..."
United States Constitution Article 1; Section 8Powers of Congress
(Remember point #1...despite the name, the Federal Reserve is NOT owned or supervised by the
government, it is a private company that is answerable to no one . Also keep in mind that plank #2 of
the NV Republican Platform specifically mentions enforcement of article one, section 8 the powers of
Congress in the United States Constitution.)
3. The Federal Reserve Act was passed into law by three men after everyone else had left for Christmas
with their families. (December 23, 1913) Fair legislation is not passed under such circumstances.
4. In order for the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates, it has to print more money. Every time it
prints more money, the value of each dollar in circulation is worth less. This means that merchants must
charge more for the same product to get the same benefit (inflation).
5. "Let me Control a peoples currency and I care not who makes their laws."
Meyer Nathaniel Rothschild, February 12, 1912
(Note that the Federal Reserve Act was passed in 1913)
I urge you to vote in favor of HR833 the "Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act" and to do
anything/everything that you can to help speed up the process of getting this vital legislation passed.
It is my belief that our economic future rests on whether or not this bill is passed into
legislation.
Please, think of my family and all the families that our suffering from the recession. YOU have
the power to help reverse the current economic problems and restore sound currency to our country.
Help return the power to coin and regulate the value of our money back to Congress by voting
YES to HR833 the "Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act."
