Konfidence the Company Who, What, Why?

Konfidence was, like many great advances, born out of necessity.
Way back in the last century (1996 to be precise) our founder Andrew Regan had his hands full with three small children who loved the water. With safety being a priority, and non of the boys liking the traditional armbands to keep afloat, Andrew set about finding an alternative. In 1998 the Original Konfidence Jacket was born and a business founded on its principles to make a trip to the pool or beach safe, fun and comfortable as possible. Since that day, every item we have made has been designed and produced with this in mind. Whether its a babys first swimming lesson, a splash around the pool with mum and dad, a beach holiday, or an adult learning to swim, we have the products to make it an enjoyable experience for all. Working with experts in the swimming industry we have now created the most comprehensive dedicated Baby Swimming range in the industry, whilst maintaining our core principles. The RoSPA Water Safety Code

We naturally want to protect our children, and a good way to do this is to improve their confidence in and around water and teach them to be water safe.
1. Spot the dangers Water may look safe, but it can be dangerous; learn to spot and keep away from dangers. You may swim well in a warm indoor pool, but that does not mean that youd be able to swim in cold outside water. 2. Take safety advice Special flags and notices may warn you of danger. Know what the signs mean and do what they tell you. 3. Dont go alone Children should always go with an adult, not by themselves. An adult may be able to point out dangers or help if someone gets into trouble. 4. Learn how to help You may be able to help yourself and others if you know what to do in an emergency.
