of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW) is an Autonomous / Apex Technical Institute funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for promoting Health and Family Welfare Programmes in the country through Education & Training, Research & Evaluation, specialized services, consultancy and advisory service. This Institute has been appointed by MOHFW, GOI as a Nodal Agency for Coordination of all the Activities in the country under the Centre of Health Informatics (CHI) for National Health Portal (NHP). The pilot project of National Health Portal is approved for a period of two years. Under the above project NIHFW invites applications for appointment to the following posts on contract basis:

I.

Deputy Director (Technical)

A. Essential BE / B.Tech in Computer Sc.& Engg. / Systems Management / Electronics & Communications Engg. / Information Technology or MCA from a recognized University or Institution with three years experience in IT sector. B. Desirable Working experience in healthcare sector. The Selection Committee may recommend relaxation of experience in case of deserving candidates. Job requirement: Responsibilities would involve designing IT architecture systems, administration, systems analysis, technical support for purchases, systems maintenance, development and modification of software, training, setting up an enterprise portal to address the healthcare information needs of the country in multiple languages. Help train other staff to understand the technology and operation of the portal. Age Limit: - Upper limit 40 years (as on the last date of application) - Age limit could be relaxed for exceptional candidates on recommendation of Selection Committee. Remuneration:- Rs. 55,000 - Rs.70,000/- (Consolidated)

II.

Assistant Director (Technical)

A. Essential BE / B.Tech in Computer Sc.& Engg. / Systems Management / Electronics & Communications Engg. / Information Technology or MCA from a recognized University or Institution with two years experience in IT sector. B. Desirable Working experience in healthcare ICT projects. The Selection Committee may recommend relaxation of experience in case of deserving candidates.

Job requirement Manage Medical Affairs budgets and resource allocation. Should have prior experience in online web application / portal development and have knowledge of various portal frameworks A proven track record of successful project management and a demonstrated ability to organize lead and manage across functions and organizations. Experience in managing or developing products and solutions in the Healthcare Space. Ensure compliance with SOPs, GCP and ICH, as well as with legal and ethical standards. Individual needs to be a result oriented self-starter with excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and excellent project and personal organizational skills. PMP / other project management certification/s would be an added advantage

III.

Assistant Director (Technical)

A. Essential MD (Community Medicine / PSM / CHA) or MBBS with three years experience in public Health. B. Desirable Experience of handling Healthcare IT projects. The Selection Committee may recommend relaxation of experience in case of deserving candidates. Job requirement Ensure content vendors/providers provide the organisation with timely, practical scientific data and publications which ultimately contribute to the development of the portal. Track changes in local government regulations and communicate to members of the Local Medical Team In the event of local legal issues, liaise directly with legal representatives to ensure medical view is appropriately represented Ensure the sign-off of portal content is carried out in accordance with regulatory, legal and ethical guidelines Ensure roles, responsibilities and training for managing content at local levels are clearly understood

Age Limit: Upper limit 40 years (as on the last date of application) - Age limit could be relaxed for exceptional candidates on recommendation of Selection Committee. Remuneration:- Rs.58,000 Rs.74,000 (consolidated) (inclusive of NPA) The applications should reach NIHFW latest by 18.03.2013.

Duration: Appointment will be initially for a period of one year, extendable further subject to the continuation of the project and satisfactory performance. Place of Duty: NIHFW, New Delhi. The work will require extensive traveling to various parts of India.
