Grade 4 Unit 5 Dusty Farm (73)

My granny lives on a small farm near Johannesburg in South Africa. She keeps partridges on her dusty farm. I went to visit her last summer. I asked her why her farm did not have so many animals. She sighed and said, I cant afford to feed them Sara. We gazed sadly across the grasslands together. The midday sun was bright. I could see the bodies of two dead sheep under a tree.
