Purpose: This procedure explains formwork, formwork supports, carring systems and control system of formwork and finilizing concrete finishing works. Different procedures and instructions will be prepared for the subjects which are not mentioned in this form.

Scope: Covers all formwork in any part of Water Supply and Sanitation Adriatic Coast III- Herceg Novi WWTP.

Responsibilities: Construction Chief is responsible for controlling these activities which are in this procedure. Site Engineer is responsible for applying these activities and finding suitable workers for that. Quality Control Manager is responsible for viewing the procedure and proving the application.

Aplications: Formworks, reinforcement works, concreting works and carring systems should be prepared according to contract Representetive of Employer should approve the formwork material and construction drawings and calculations Formwork systems has to be submitted to Engineers for Reviewing and approval Formworks should be able to carry all loads. They will be tied in the correct situation and position till to the demontage time. There shouldnt be any deflection on formworks. Vibrator usage should be consider while consedering security. Form ties and spacers should be according to contract, d to waterstops and joints Will be produced according to the design, borders and dimensions on drawings.

Formworks wont cause any leakage during the concrete pouring and vibrating it. Corners and ends on the edges of the completed concrete will be shaped by 45 angle, for having chamfer. Diagonal surfaces formworks is going to be in same structures for that it will be checked by planer or corrected. For catching a similar view vertical joints and bevels shall be reviewed and approved by the Engineer.

Formwork Material: Formwork materials, concrete surfaces should be smooth and without cracks, straight and good quality. Attachments will be tongued and grooved. Proposals of formworks has to be submitted by Contractor for Engineers Review and

approval.

For cleaning and compacting concrete there will be enough holes on the formwork. Formwork Fixing All supporting materials shall be proposed by the Contractors for Engineer s Review and approval. After demontaging all the pieces, holes will be filled by according to contract. Generally wires wont be used.

Formwork Oil: Curing has to be proposed by the Contractor for Engineers review and approval. All the surfaces which are contacted with concrete, will be painted to prevent adhesion, with approved, stainless formwork oil or solution. Painting will be done after reinforcement works, workers should be careful about not painting completed concrete parts. Surplus oil on the formwork or the concrete or metal pieces, will be cleaned carefully. Before oiling work, dry concrete pieces from previous usage of the formwork will be completely cleaned.

For unseen surfaces and closed areas, formwork will be smoothened and before pouring concrete oiling or watering will be done.

Reuse of Formworks: All the damaged areas will be fixed before reusing the formworks. Formworks which are destroyed or repaired too many times, wont be used. The concrete pieces from previous usages will be cleaned completely. Before setting it up again oiling will be done again. Cleaning of Formworks: Before pouring concrete formworks will be cleaned from concrete, wood and other materials which can damage concrete quality. Demontaging of Formworks Demontaging has to be carried out according to the contract. Contractor has to submit proposal for Engineers Review and Approval.

Concrete Finishing Surfaces: Has to be carried out according to contract. Saw cutted tough wood material or similar material will be used for the Unseen surfaces. For the surfaces which is going to be covered by the filling or concrete, just repariment will be done. Open area surfaces will be repaired by the wood trowel. Concrete surfaces will be smoothened for the water insulation material. Open surfaces of floor plates and water contacted top surfaces are going to be repaired with a trowel, these surfaces will be smooth. Places which are going to be rendered or shapened, will have a penetrated surface. All surfaces situations will be; without cracks, unbreakable, without hole

Rehabilitation and Repair Mortar of Concrete Surfaces

Rehabilitation of concrete surfaces and repair mortar will be used according to engineer s review and approval.

Records: All records will be done by the quality plan. All records will be kept, if asked will be presented.
