WINTER PROJECT GUIDELINES

1. In fourth semester, candidates have to submit a Research Project Report on a

problem/topic (from the Specialization areas) to be assigned by the Department MBA under the supervision of a core faculty member of the department.
2. The research project report will carry 150 marks. Hence, it is the important part of MBA

Programme. 3. Project should be carried out individually. 4. The evaluation of the project report will be done by two external examiners and will consist of: (i) Evaluation of Project Report (100 Marks) (ii) Viva on Project (50 Marks). 5. This module enables MBA students to develop interest and enhance their expertise in the area which they have profound implications in their later endeavours. 6. The project is entirely different form summer training project as it is industry based and not company based.
7. The project should be related to an industry problem, comparative analysis, or future

projections. 8. The number of pages in the report will be 75 or more. 9. The report should be typed in A-4 size paper.
10. The student will submit three copies of the report to your Project Guide.

11. A certificate of the Head of the MBA program certifying the authenticity of the report shall be attached therewith. 12. The format will be as follows:a. Title Page b. College Certificate c. Acknowledgement d. Preface e. Executive Summary f. Table of Contents g. List of Tables (if any) h. List of figures (if any) i. Project Intro & Need for the Study j. Objectives of the study. k. Research Methodology l. Chapters covering the Data Collection, Research Design and Hypothesis Testing. etc

13. Font size: 12 of body text and 14 of headings; font: Times New Roman. The body text

will have Double Spacing. 14. The file should be hard bound. 15. One can follow the approach of: a. Writing an initial research plan of the approach you will follow in answering your question. b. Survey the literature relevant to your topic. c. Once your plan is approved, start to work on the project itself. Often it is helpful to create schedule of the activities you have to complete and the time you available. d. Prepare a draft outline of the sections of the report. e. As soon as it is clear how the final report is going to look, send a draft copy of it to your supervisors for comments. Make corrections and changes as required. Complete the report and send it in, in final typed form.

By the summation of all the different sector of Industries in survey, Nilkamal has the Largest Market Share of approximately 34.6 % due to the diversity of Nilkamal products. The main competitor of Nilkamal is Supreme as they are having approx 14.78 % of share in the product.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Company should try to advertise about their products and try to make people aware about their new range of products. Distributor should try to advertise them with the help of company because many people are not aware about them. Company should try to offer promotional schemes from time to time.

FOR EXAMPLE: The industrial area was very limited in Allahabad and in its outskirts. Some of the industries had been closed. At certain target place the person who could give the relevant information was unavailable.
