SSB Medical Test Army medical test in India The candidate recommended by the service selection board will

undergo a medical examination by the board of service medical officers. Women candidates will undergo a medical check by a board consists of male/female doctors/gynaeocologist and medical specialists. There will be a lady medical officer as the member of the board. Blood Test:In blood test, the find any blood related diseases or any transferable diseases which is now and in future. The blood test will give a clear picture of the diseases in body. Urine Test:They examine urine test like blood test to cross check whether we are taking any drugs to cure any of our diseases. Since in urine, the drugs will be excreted and they easily found out this. Dental Check up:There should be minimum 28 sound dental points. There should be no tooth scaling. Chest X-ray and Spleen:They find for any lung related diseases and enlargement of spleen etc. Eye check up:The eye check up is done by opthalamologist. They check for the eye power and color blindness. The eye power limit for tri services are as follows For Army myopia should not be more than 2.5D and hypermetropia should not be more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism. For Navy myopia should not be more than -0.75D and hypermetropia should not be more than 1.5 D. For Airforce myopia should not be more than 2.D and sph., manifest myopia. Ear and Nose check up:Ear and Nose and throat check up are carried out by the ENT specialist. The wax should be removed from the ear. Surgical Check up:The body is checked for any surgical marks which may be a cause for rejection. External Check up:The external check up includes, skin diseases, hyperhydrosis, knock knees, flat foot etc. B.M.I check up:The body is check for its appropriate weight, height and chest sizes. The chest should expand minimum 5 cms while inhalation. Ideal Age, Height and Weight (Male):It should be within permissible limits (+ or - 10%) of the ideal weight as per correlation table between age, height and average weight given below. In recording fraction lower than 0.5 Kg above will be recorded as 1 Kg. For weight and height correlation table refer your call letter or the official army site. candidates declared unfit by the Special Medical Board (SMB) will be intimated by the president of the medical board. The procedure for request of the Appeal Medical Board will also be requested and intimated to the candidate. Unfit candidates should report to the Appeal Medical Board (AMB) within a maximum period of 42 days. Candidates are advised to appear in the AMB well in time and should not wait for the last day given by the SMB. Candidate are advised to note that the Recruiting Directorate has no role to play in the Appeal Medical Board and procedure advised by the medical authorities are strictly adhered to. Candidates declared unfit by the AMB will also be intimated by the President, AMB about procedure to challenging the finding of AMB candidates will also be intimated that Review Medical Board (RMB) will be granted at the discretion of DGAFMS based on based on the merits of the case and that RMB is not a matter of right.
