Immigrants Constitutional Rights Constitutional Rights of Physicians
Dear Mr. Soltani, We are writing to welcome you today at Stockton Stop of your Northern California Bus campaign; Estamos Unidos! We join ACLU today to lend our support for Constitutional Rights of Immigrants. As you kindly noted in your message; Citizen or Non-Citizen, US Constitution guarantees the fundamental rights and civil liberties of every person in the country. We want to bring to your attention plight of another seemingly important group of individuals, a group of individuals that is completely deprived of their Constitutional Rights, Physicians of the State of California (whether licensed or unlicensed). When the Medical Board of California deprives a physician of his/her ability to earn his living (aka takes a disciplinary action), the Board disturbingly pleads, A physician may not seek any other relief by any other way meaning Physicians have no constitutional right. Physicians are frequently stripped of his ability to earn their living without formal accusations and without any hearing via an Interim Suspension Order. As an example, we are providing a few informational flyers depicting violations of Dr. Sheikhs Constitutional Rights by the State agencies. We are requesting your kind help and guidance to restore Constitutional Rights of Dr. Sheikh and of all Physicians of California. Respectfully Submitted,
Remember Arizonas SB 1070? It will be heard in the U.S. Supreme Court this Wednesday. Our bus will be in Arizona on its way to Alabama and other states with copycat laws! The court will make its decision by the end of June. An 8th grader from Alabama - Brandon - inspired our campaign with video. And video touched my heart.
s
Sincerely,
