1. New! Clinical Validation Program

A pilot PROGRAM for clinical trials (testing) of Ontario innovative products in


the field of Medical and Assistive Technologies (MAT), with priority to assist
SME and relevant technology developers has been established in a
collaborative venture among YORKbiotech and HTX. Read more

more, you may qualify for a grant covering up to 50% of eligible costs incurred

5. Clinical Engineering Internship Program. Primary objective of
the program is to provide advanced education and training for
engineers to enable them to meet the specialized needs of
managing technology in Canada's healthcare system, qualifying
them for certification in clinical engineering. Now accepting
internship proposals for the Summer (May-August) and Fall (Sept-
Dec) 2009 school terms. Read more

6. McMaster Start-up Challenge (MSC) is a business


competition organized by McMaster University. The competition
was created to recognize, celebrate, and champion the
entrepreneurial spirit, focusing on bringing together the best and
brightest up and coming entrepreneurs in the region. McMaster
University will reward the entrepreneurs for their innovation a total
of $50,000, between cash and in-kind prizes. Moreover, up to
three teams from McMaster Start-up Challenge will automatically
qualify to compete in the regional LaunchPad $50k Competition.

of a successful negotiation. Even seasoned negotiators can find
themselves frustrated by seemingly intractable disputes. All too
often, complex psychological issues lurk beneath the surface,
unspoken and unrecognized, protracting disputes and turning
opportunities for successful resolution into conflicts that leave
everyone worse off. This seminar, led by an experienced
professor and practitioner/negotiator, will help you recognize
some of these problems and develop creative solutions to move
