INTELLIGENT IDENTITY SYSTEM

AIM: To implement a high level of authentication for restricted areas in firms and other places.

INTRODUCTION: In many firms a high level of security is required for restricted areas, it is very difficult to check the employees and other persons by manual checking. Also in manual checking some malfunctions may occur, so to avoid this, intelligent security system is introduced by using RFID cards. In this case every employee will be provided with a unique RFID card, this will holds an ID which is unique one. Previously all the information about the card holder will be stored in the memory, so that whenever he swipes the card his permissions are verified and he is allowed are denied based on his designation. Since this kind of security system is more powerful than the manual checking.

WORKING: This project is done particularly for official applications. This project is used to restrict the unauthorized persons from the restricted areas. Since there are many kinds of security devices are there like biometric palm, Irish reorganizations etc, but this method (RF cards )are less expensive, easy to implement and easy to maintain. This module includes a RF card reader a controller and an LCD. Along with that an RF card is used. Every person, working in a firm is provided with a RF card. Each card will have a unique address, previously the persons full details are stored in the memory along with their designation in a location heading with the unique ID of their cards. Whenever the person swipes his card the card reader reads the address of that card and checks it with the memory using the controller, if the ID matches with any of the ID, then the door is opened and at the same time their permission status is also displayed in the LCD. Otherwise access denied or any other message will be displayed and the door also wont be opened. Hence the controller also maintains a list of persons who entered and went out along with their time of entry and exit, since this becomes more simple in maintaining the attendance of the employees and also it can be used for various enquires. Hence the card reader uses a radio frequency for communication with card, whenever the card is moved across that frequency, the card will be activated and it sends the address to the reader. Since this concept for security system is more effective nowadays.
