Madrid's Campus Experience is coming to Southeast Asia for the very first time, and Singapore will be the host country of the one of the world's most successful sports and education vacation programmes. Madrid, Spain, March 7, 2013 - Fundacion Real Madrid's Campus Experience is coming to Southeast Asia for the very first time, and Singapore will be the host country of the one of the world's most successful sports and education vacation programmes. The Campus Experience is a unique project which combines the sport training provided by coaches and managers of Fundacion Real Madrid with a comprehensive educational programme based on the values cherished by the world's most decorated football club. Raffles Institution (http://www.ri.edu.sg/) (RI) will host the Campus Experience by Fundacion Real Madrid in Singapore. RI is also providing valuable input and support to ensure that the Campus Experience Singapore is tailored to the needs and interests of students in Singapore. The unstinting support provided to the project by one of the foremost educational institutions in the country, marking its 190th anniversary this year, is highly valued. The Campus Experience is open to boys and girls ages 7 17, with different sessions to be developed in June. Each session will comprise five full-day programmes that run from approximately 8.20 a.m. to 5.45 p.m. daily. The main aim of the Project is to educate children in those values associated to Real Madrid, including leadership, teamwork, respect, humility and fellowship, through football and other formative activities. In its first edition, Campus Experience will be paying special attention to the role of nutrition in the overall development of the sports athlete, so that participants may improve their eating habits and get used to a healthy and nutritious diet from an early age. Fundacion Real Madrid has welcomed the launch of the programme in Singapore and is particularly proud to have chosen Singapore as the first venue for the introduction in Southeast Asia of the internationally-acclaimed Campus Experience programme. This is yet another milestone in the Club's determined strategy to open new avenues in Asia with a view to promote education through football and spread values such as team work, sacrifice and fair play that have long been associated with the Real Madrid corporate brand. According to H.E. Federico Palomera, Ambassador of Spain to Singapore, "I am pleased that Real Madrid, the world's most successful football club, has cosen Singapore as the foundation for its growing ambitions in Asia. The arrival of Fundacion Realmadrids Campus Experience to Singapore in partnership with the Raffles Institution in summer 2013 underscores the commitment to Asia of one of Spain's most reputable brands, a true ambassador of Spain. I am confident that this Real Madrid Foundation project in Singapore will turn out to be a driver for the advancement of Singapore-Spanish relations." The President of the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), Mr Zainudin Nordin, also welcomed the news of Fundacion Real Madrid's Campus Experience in Singapore: The FAS is committed to the growth of football in Singapore and has always endeavoured to develop

talented and young players systematically through its wellstructured youth development programmes, with students from several age groups. It has been almost three years since the launch of the FAS Strategic Plan. Through the concerted efforts of its staff and key stakeholders, FAS has achieved considerable progress in the implementation thereof. These include our programmes in youth development, grassroots football, and management and administration all of which have been singled out for praise by visiting officials, including FIFA Technical Director Mr. Jean-Michel Bnzet, and Mr. David Borja, FIFAs Senior Manager, Development Programme, Asia. The FAS will continue to support our talented youngsters as they gain overseas exposure and experience on a regular basis to maximise their potential. We are very pleased that a world-class club like Real Madrid has decided to launch the first Southeast Asian edition of Fundacion Real Madrid's Campus Experience in Singapore. We hope this venture will dovetail into FAS youth development strategies and help identify and groom local football talent who will do the nation and the beautiful game proud.
