Bio-Scien9c Scenario I am looking at the Structure of a Eukaryo9c Organelle (a human cell form organ 9ssue). I want to portray this in a space age sci- way by showing a journey inside a planet, and showing dierent loca9ons and environments within this planet as the dierent elements of the actual cell. As each part of the cell is encountered, a small explana9on will be given. My scenario: A meteor smashes into the surface (outer membrane) of a planet and crashes by a highway (Endoplasmic Re9culum). Two aliens emerge and start walking along this highway and come to a power sta9on (Mitochondria) where overhead a Blimp (Ribosome) glides pass, they proceed to go through the power sta9on and into a packaging plant (Golgi Apparatus). When they exit this, they nd a huge waste site (Vacuoles) and quickly run from here through a maze (Rough Re9culum) and nd the control center to the planet (Nucleus) and blast their way though it to get to the nucleolus.

Visual Concept Visually I want my anima9on to mimic an old sci- lm like the matrix, for example the main city of Zion has been an inuence in gecng the design for my nucleus, as I feel that I gives a grandeur in the way it has a central circular hub with its energy source. Tron is also a good source to look at because it has a good colour scheme; it is generally associated with the stereotypical sci- lm with the darkness and the blue 9nted lights. It gives quite a good sense of post apocalyp9c 9mes and I think that with the lms now-a-days turning to more futuris9c themes, more and more people are being interested by it, and my anima9on can take advantage of that and use these themes. In the movie Cloud Atlas, there are many dierent 9me zones, and during the mid future they have a chase on a road, which is made en9rely from light, or controlled plasma. I am going to follow in these footsteps because I can use this to personify
