COURSE FORMAT

- The course comes in four booklets. Each booklet is 8 X 11 and spiral bound for easy usage. - There is a five year time limit on completing the course and we recommend a period of two years or it may be necessary to purchase an updated version of the course material which changes over time.

TESTING AND TEACHER-STUDENT INTERACTION - The course includes study questions and study exercises at the end of the nearly forty lessons. The course workbook contains special charts for practical analysis. - There are three detailed final tests consisting of up to one hundred questions, to be returned to the institute for grading. Students can send in answers by mail or by email. - Students can email or write the institute if they have additional questions based upon the course material. They can also receive astrological readings from our staff but there is an extra fee. Note Consultations and Retreats section of the website .

CERTIFICATION AND ADDITIONAL STUDIES - Certification for the course is given to students who answer all test questions satisfactorily, as well as options for further study not only in Vedic astrology but also in Ayurvedic medicine.

- The course takes about 200 hours of study to complete and provides 200 hours of credit in Vedic Astrology. It also grants a special certificate of "Ayurvedic Astrologer Level I," off ered only by this institute. It also grants 200 hours of credit through the Council of Vedic Astrology (CVA) towards its Jyotish Visharada training. - Dr. Frawley is available to guide a limited number of tutorial students for those who want to continue studying with him after the correspondence course. Inquire by email as to availability. This follows the guidelines of the CVA tutorial program and requires registration withACVA. He can also provide additional training in Ayurvedic Astrology for those who want to specialize in the astrology of healing. Note also the Additional Training Programs Section of our website.

EMAIL OPTIONS - The course is usually sent by regular mail, but the course questionsshould bereturned by email. - We can also email you the test questions for the course to save you the time of copying them down.
