my life as it is right now...

SCHOOL OF BIBLICAL STUDIES
it is hard to believe that i have now been living in taiwan for four months. looking back the time has gone by so quickly i have found myself lately praying that life would slow down. this has truly been one of the most challenging, growing, rewarding and incredible seasons in my life. it took me a few months to really adjust and settle in here. it was very different transitioning from staff in a leadership position to being a student in a familiar (training school) yet unfamiliar (sbs & taiwan) setting. i have been blessed to have made some incredible friends who have helped me settle in well. since being here i have almost daily thanked the Lord for the privilege it is that i am able to be here. i say almost because there are times when i am emotionally, physically and spiritually drained but i have seen Gods grace time and time again as we start a new book and miraculously i am able to jump right back in with two feet. i have truly gained a deeper love and respect for the word of God and the importance of it in my life.

SBS CONTD

last week we nished studying the new testament!! i felt so accomplished and realised how much studying we had all just put in to these last 3 1/2 months...then i looked forward and saw that the NT has about a 1/3 of the entire bible and we only have about 5 months to start & nish the OT. sometimes i think that there is no way i can possibly learn any more...there is no place for me to store this information but somehow it always ts in somewhere :D ...please pray for me as i continue on in my studies.
GOING DEEPER

taiwanese have for the word of God is so encouraging. please pray for us as we continue to share Gods truth and the gospel with those in danshui.
TRIP TO THE USA

i have learned so much during my time here and have been thinking of what i could share of what has impacted me the most - it is so hard to chose one thing. my view of God has grown so much. i always knew his character as a loving God but the more i study the more i see his plan for redemption for us and how he SO desires relationship with each person. i have seen the need for sound bible teaching and have had the desire to teach to others what i am learning. my ministry times here at the cafe (the rock) have given me ample opportunities to share the gospel and their to see the openness and extreme hunger the

we had our rst break in june where we took a week off of studying so we could rest & breath before starting the whole process again. i had the privilege of being a bridesmaid in a wedding of some close friends and was able to y home to be there. i spent 5 days in orlando seeing my ywam family there. it was exactly what i needed...a reminder of who i am and what God has done in my life over these past 5 1/2 years. miraculously i was able to spend time with most of our staff and even some students having been given the opportunity to share a little bit in the new dts. after a funlled week i hopped in a car w/my friend jeniece and drove to michigan for the wedding-making many stops along the way to visit more friends. even making time to meet some of my sbs friends families while home. the wedding was beautiful and i promptly left the next day to end my whirlwind 12 day adventure (with a quick visit from my family in the portland airport) to return to taipei for more study of the word.
