2. Board-game Event: Board games Lauren will bring, will raid Jims bar.
7.30pm Erin wont wont be there, and Ill be late. Most people will sit and drink and chat anyway.

3. Welfare Event: Welfare event: Pretty much sorted. Kath Campbell from Rape Crsis and
Claire McHotCop. Email has been sent to FemSoc also. We can think about whether we can plan any questions committee should think about questions about rape etc. Its in the Williams Room. We have it from 7. Be there for 7.

4. Student Mixer: Should just be us with Strathclyde/Caldeonian. We meet up beforehand 5. Private trans* group Colvin: Private Trans* Group: brought up by someone (Facebook
group) Colvin has mixed feelings. Used to notify people of other trans* events/poll what people want to do. Makes a safe space for people to chat. Although it may seem like were separating trans* people from LGBTQ+ Hannah trans* members do have specific needs that LGBQ+ may not address. Colvin may be drama on the group. Colvin group may be carried out on a trail basis. Should it be Colvins facebook or LGBT. Maybe do it through trans@gulgbt.co.uk so it can be passed on. Lauren - no objections

6. Ceilidh Hilton is booked, Lauren just needs to drop in a cheque tomorrow. a. Raffle letters and list: Will be printed off tomorrow by Lauren. b. Charities: Albert Kennedy trust only operate in London and Manchester. Not very

inclusive. Kaleidoscope diversity trust has a lot of funding already because Pride London official thingy. Diversity Role Models and Albert Kennedy trust seem very good. If we support a charity only in Scotland, we might be limiting ourselves. If we support charities outside Scotland might be incentive for them to do things in Glasgow. We did Broken Rainbow last year, so should be another one. Colvin diversity role models seem to do a harder job. They have to go into rough schools etc. Do they really change anything? Hannah were already helping LGBT youth Scotland, so weve gone down the route of schools etc Erin likes the idea of fuelling local charities, means our community get something back. Were supporting Albert Kennedy. Lauren will print Albert Kennedy list tomorrow. Tickets are very much designed by Erin. We wont get tickets till next week? They might do next day delivery. Add in No jeans and no trainers. c. Band: 450 Check if they have insurance Ask about their insurance Remind them of pronouns. d. Times: Room for 7pm till 1am. Means we can go to polo etc. Need to be at the Hilton for 7 so we can also decorate. e. Decorations: Colour scheme Red and Gold/Red and Green Erin A3 posters. Erin would not mind taking photos. David wouldnt mind splitting the time. f. Tickets: Print no Jeans and no trainers. g. Could book mini-buses/a taxi service to get a discount.

7. Semester Two

a. QueerFest: Masked ball. Vicky and Stephanie Either 2nd week or 4th week in Feb: 6/7 and 20/21. Can have Queer 101 same week Could probably get more people to come e.g.: from St Andrews and Strathclyde. If we want to have the same rooms (GU) then we should decide now whether we want them to be on the same date. Room hire cheap and they are happy to make drinks etc. Can promote at Strathclyde Valentines Day Ball Lauren and Hannah discussed Masked Ball. b. Workshop ideas for Semester 2: c. Dinner: Need to get in there to book. Lauren will get them to send the menus. Or Hospitaility service in 1A the square. Hunter halls? Should probably have tickets d. General ideas brainstorm committee should think. There are 5 gaps. Ideas already: Farewell dinner, AGM, Debate (hopefully) Could use GUU or QM, Wicked Wenches The Riding Room, Cocktail classes, Traditionally on 1st week back we do a pub crawl.

8. M/W/P-M/T* Events a. PostMat Event: David scheduled in for week beginning 19th of November any day that week apart from the Wednesday. b. Christmas night out for committee: Need to find a date in Christmas or do it the first week back: Ugly sweaters will be the theme. c. Committee Secret Santa

9. Next Meeting: Not next week, week after. Week beginning 19th, doodle will be sent out.
