Dear Friends and Supporters,

"But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver." II Corinthians 9:6-7. We are so thankful for each of you who sows bountifully into our ministry so that we may accomplish that which God has called us to do. We pray that others would also catch our vision for Brazil and help us to fulfill our calling to that country. We are more burdened now than ever before for the people of Brazil. There are so many people in Brazil who have yet to hear a clear gospel message, and so many are dying every day without ever having trusted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. In the state of Paraiba, where we will work, there are between 18 and 20 cities with populations between 50,000 and 120,000 people who do not even have a gospel witness! Truly the harvest is plenteous, but the laborers are so few. We are asking God to send more missionaries to Paraiba to work with us. Paraiba is one of the least evangelized states in Brazil, and the doors are wide open for the gospel. Would you pray with us that God would send forth more laborers? Would you ask God if He would have you to go? God has been blessing us tremendously throughout these last months. Once again we find ourselves with an increase in support, for which we are truly grateful. We now have 71% of our support raised! We thank God for this increase and for being within earshot of the goal! We are praying that God would allow us to be over 80% by the summer so we can begin the process of applying for visas later this year to enter the country of Brazil. Please pray with us to that end and ask the Lord how you can help us to reach that goal. We would truly like to be on our way to Brazil by the end of this year. We have stayed busy presenting our ministry on the road with churches we have visited in North Carolina, Florida, and Virginia these last few months. We have participated in several Missions Conferences as well as presenting in a number of churches and have enjoyed our time on the road. Kyle is continuing to learn, even on the road. He is 4 years old now and is already reading! He loves to learn and we are thankful that he does so well on the road. Deputation is usually hardest on children. We pray that he will learn to have a passion for Christ and a strong desire to serve Him. We look forward to the day when he decides for himself to trust Christ as his personal Savior. We continue to develop a good schedule of meetings in churches wherever we can. Please pray with us for safety on the roads, open doors with the pastors with whom we speak, added support, and spiritual growth. We are getting more excited every day and trusting His perfect timing for the day we will arrive on the field of Brazil! In His Service,
