Election 2012 Gudelines and Regulations as STIPULATED in the Amended CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS of the Organization.

REGIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ELECTION

QUALIFICATIONS.
To qualify for any REC position, a candidate must possess or satisfy the following conditions: a) The President must have stayed at least two (2) years in the College of Nursing during the time of application. b) The Vice-President down to the District Officers must have stayed at least one (1) year in the college during the time of application. c) Must have a general average of at least eighty-five percent (85%) and no grades in individual subjects lower than eighty percent. d) He/she must be of good moral character and must not have been found guilty of any disciplinary case or any act involving moral turpitude as certified by the Guidance Counselor.

REPRESENTATIVES.
1. Each

school must send 3 representatives for the election; each representative shall be given one voting power. 2. All three representatives must bring all the requirements during the election day. (certificate of Good Moral Character, duly accomplished application form and list of credentials) 3. All representatives must be endorsed by the dean, preferably not holding a major position in a big student organization.

ELECTION PROCEDURES.
1. Election starts with an orientation of candidates to be followed by election

proper. 2. All candidates shall be given a chance to introduce themselves, mention their credentials, platforms and plans prior to the start of the election. 3. The PNSA REC outgoing officers shall provide all materials necessary to facilitate execution of fair and impartial election. Pens, voting instructions, ballots shall be provided on the election day.
