    AlarmMonitoringisaBASISapplicationdesignedforthemonitoringofAccessControldevices, theirstatusandusage.Itcanbeusedtocheckifadeviceishavingproblems,ifthereisanalarm,such asadoorforcedopenwithoutproperaccess,andtracehistoryofadeviceorcardholdertoensure properaccesscontrol. OpentheAlarmMonitoringapplication.

    ByDefault,AlarmMonitoringshowsyoueventsinyoursegment.Eventswillrangeinpriority, with1beingthelowestpriority(notifications),andshowingthecolorblue,uptomediumpriority events,ingreen(restorations),suchasalarmsbeingrestored.Therearehigherpriorityevents (warnings)inyellow,suchasinvalidbadgesanddoorheldopens.Redevents(alarms),suchasdoors forcedopen,triggeredalarms,anddeviceerrors,havethehighestpriority,200,andneedtobe acknowledgedbeforetheycanbeclearedfromtheEventwindow. AlthoughthedefaultwindowinAlarmMonitoringshowsevents,wecanalsomonitordevicesin thesystemtochecktheirstatusinrealtime,andseeifthereareanyhardwareissueswiththem. Page|30
