The GPS is required to avoid any inter-site (between BS) interferences In a TDD system
The F/B ratio of the SUs is preventing the other base station from interfering There is only one frequency for receive and transmit. If the base stations are not synchronized, when BS#1 transmit and BS#2 receives, the transmission of BS#1 interferes with the transmission of SU2

The GPS clock required is 1 PPS (Pulse Per Second) with an accuracy of 10e-11 and maximum jitter of 100ns The GPS system transmits two streams of information: PPS - Pulse Per Second a stream of pulses separated by 1 second PPS ID a number identifying the PPS, in terms of microsecond elapsed from January 1 2000, until the respective PPS pulse

The ODU Power Feeder is used to provide power (-48 VDC) to the AU-ODU-HP It transfers transparently all signals between the AU-IDU and the ODU, while injecting DCpower received from an external source Each ODU Power Feeder unit can serve up to four High Power ODUs Up to three ODU Power Feeder units can be installed in a 1U high Power Feeder panel
