Introduction
Vana Human Capital Management Learning Management represents a comprehensive module to create and track all types of learning and development plans for workers within organization. The Learning Management functionality includes the ability to create learning types, setup a catalog of available learning, and enroll participants into learning plans. Learning catalog items can be setup to track the enrollment of individual learning courses, or the ability for employees to search for learning and submit enrollment for approval. Learning content can be added to any learning catalog item or a URL provided to external learning content. Vana Human Capital Management Learning Management includes the complete support for approval processing and workflow notification to support your business requirements.

Learning Catalog (Learning Catalog Tab)


The Learning Catalog tab is used to create a complete list of learning available to your organization. Learning Types including Classroom and Online learning can be created and tracked, with the ability to create any type of learning for tracking and enrollment. For classroom based learning, session and enrollment information can be tracked including vendor, maximum enrollment, start and end date of enrollment, facility, room, and instructor. Online learning can be tracked by way of providing a URL or website to the external or internal online learning.

Additional information available when creating learning catalog items include the ability to send an email to participants, upload and track learning content, and track specific competencies that are applicable to this learning catalog item. Learning Catalog Search


The Learning Catalog Search page is where employees can search by learning title as well as by the type of learning (online, classroom, webinar). The search results display a summary of the information for that specific learning catalog item including the ability to Enroll in this specific learning catalog item. Approval processing and workflow can be activated when an employee chooses to Enroll in a learning catalog item.

Learning Plan (Learning Plan Tab)


The Learning Plan Tab is a view of every learning catalog item a worker has submitted enrollment including the current status of enrollment. Additionally, employees or learning administrators have the ability to update the completion date and completion status and attach a development plan to each learning plan.

Development Plans (Development Plan Tab)


The Development Plan tab is where employees and administrators can create development plans for employees as either stand-alone activities, or integrated with an employees performance and goal initiatives. Learning plans can be associated with development plans as to track the completion of targeted learning that is applicable to a specific development plan for an employee. If turned on, a learning plan can be added directly from the development plan page to automatically associated the learning activity with the development plan.
