Definition of Health (From World Health Organization) WHO Heath is a complete state of physical, mental, and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. What does infirmity mean? Whats another term for it? Physical or mental weakness. It's weakness or old age. So what does this definition from the WHO mean? Health is more than not being sick, it means you are capable of functioning normally and productively. Find at least one other definition of health and put it here: Soundness, especially of body or mind; freedom from disease or abnormality. Themes/Patterns in the Definitions (How are they different or similar): - They both involve body, mind, and multiple components. - Freedom from disease or classical unhealthy traits. - They both mention or derive from peace and well-being, leaving us to assume that we must be happy/peaceful to be said definition of healthy.
