Client Team Size Duration Environment Role Domain Description: Discounts and Coupons (DNC) is a rule-based system for defining and applying pricing adjustments to items and quotes, mainly discounts and coupon discounts. There are three components of the DNC system: The DNC runtime is called by consuming applications to apply discounts Eldorado is the client maintenance application for defining and maintaining pricing rule data. The DNC Server. In addition, the DNC team maintains the Pricing Manager in the Commerce Foundation. The Pricing Manager coordinates pricing calculations related to discounting, shipping, tax, and eco fees for SNP and Config. Applications like ECOMM, My Account (for coupon validation) which call the DNC Runtime Directly. Few more Applications like CONFIG, SNP, Search which call the DNC Runtime through the Pricing Manager.
