This Weekend March 23rd/24th Donation Drop-Off Hours: The donation truck will be unlocked in the church parking lot: Saturday from before the 9:00 am Mass to after the 5:15 pm Mass and Sunday from before the 8:00 am Mass until 5:00 pm. Items needed are: coats, boots, shoes, bedding, drapes, children's wear, books, toys, clothing and accessories that are clean and in good condition. Please ensure that bags are tied securely and boxes are sealed, for ease of handling. Reminder: We CANNOT accept mattresses, baby furniture, TVs, computers, electronics or appliances.

Scripture Study
OLS Scripture Study classes are held: Wednesdays at 10:00 am in the downstairs church meeting room Thursdays at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows School (32 Montgomery Rd) The Gospel according to John will be studied. Please bring a Bible with you.

Tenebrae Service
Palm Sunday, March 24th at 4:00 pm The Victoria Scholars Tenebrae Service of music and readings will take place at Our Lady of Sorrows. The Tenebrae responsories convey the sorrow of Holy Week in this solemn and noble music.

E-Waste and Scrap Metal Recycling Day

Saturday, April 13th 8:30 am 2:30 pm Stonegate Ministry is raising money to launch its community kitchen project through a special community collection. E-Waste is being collected so that it can be disposed of responsibly as well as provide funds through money raised based on the weight of collection. Old cell phones, computers, televisions, digital cameras, and even scrap metal are welcome. See how much your street can collect and bring it to Stonegate Plaza at 150 Berry Road. The more items collected the more money is raised. People will be on hand to assist making it hassle free proper recycling at no cost to dispose of these electronics. Prayer Quest
May 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd Prayer Quest is a four-evening study and practice in prayer for people who feel weary from busy lives or empty from constant caring. Wisdom from some of the Churchs great Saints will light the way in this spiritual journey at St. Pius X parish, 2305 Bloor St. West on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 9:00 pm. Although provided at no fee by the Office of Formation for Discipleship, Archdiocese of Toronto, pre-registration is requested to facilitate planning. Working wonders for young mothers I love my daughter with all my heart, and that makes me a good mother, but all of the support and education Ive received from Rose of Sharon has made me a great mother, says Lisa. She has also been given all the information and tools to have a healthy relationship with her daughters father, and everyone else in her life. As far as her career dreams she will be graduating high school this year and beginning an advanced college diploma in Fashion Business Management. Since Lisa became part of the Rose of Sharon community her life is back in the right direction and things are actually falling into place. Not bad for two years and one little phone call. ShareLife agencies provided counseling, support and community education to more than 6,200 young people last year offering personal and group counseling to 1,705 pregnant youth and young mothers who turned to them for help.
