Since the first days of development, the board of the company declared to the management, the manufacturing units, and the support staff that quality is of supreme importance. This product must conform and must exceed the high standards set by the key players in the market. An enormous amount of thought process, planning, engineering, and management went towards that goal. A few years later, with products as part of its range, Caracal continues to be customer centered and servicedriven to deliver this goal. Much market research is conducted to quantify and capture the customers needs. This research is immediately implemented as part of the product life cycle management ensuring development is active and responsive to the market and to the end-user. Caracal also recognized that it needs to excel in ensuring ample supply of spare parts and maintenance services. To that effect, Caracal has established and will continue to create regional offices near each of its market base. Today, Caracal has achieved ISO certifications in all facets of its operation. The product range meets the highest and strictest European and NATO standards, hence ensuring quality product development is always a focus for its operation. The Company
Beginning in 2003, a team of leading European weapon designers, in cooperation with UAE professional weapons users, developed a range of modern pistols incorporating a high content of innovative solutions, protected by internationally registered patents and verified successfully through independent tests. The final product was subjected to grueling tests, carried out by the Federal German Armed Forces Testing House WTD91 in Meppen, Germany. These included metallurgic and composite analysis, functional fitness-for-purpose and quality evaluation, endurance firing, environmental exposure, safety and accuracy tests. The Caracal comprehensively passed and its compliance with the NATO D14 test criteria, along with that of the German TA Police Standard and the Federal Armed Forces Technical Purchasing standard. The company was officially launched during the 2007 IDEX exhibition in Abu Dhabi. The Caracal F and C 9mm pistols were introduced to the international small arms world during the same event. Today, Caracal International is a small arms brand which offers a complete range of small arms solutions from pistols to carbines and sniper rifles.

CARACAL TACTICAL MODEL

To reflect modern tactical requirements the Caracal can be supplied with a polymer grip in a matt sand color. This color has been carefully selected to provide optimum blending with military disruptive patterns and offer a high degree of resistance to ambient heat.

TECHNICAL FEATURES OF THE CARACAL 9MM

Disassembly Lever
The Caracal has an easy to operate, concealed disassembly lever. It remains locked at all times within the pistol grip preventing accidental loss during field stripping.

2 & 3 dot sight systems

The Caracal offers a traditional 3-dot sight system together with a propriety 2-dot system. When the two dots are seen as a figure of eight image then the weapon is perfectly aligned both horizontally and vertically.

Low Profile slide and bore

The low profile slide greatly reduces felt recoil to the user. The close relationship between the low bore and the natural point of the trigger finger allows for highly instinctive shooting and therefore greater accuracy with the pistol.

Plasox finish
The Caracals metal parts are coated in a unique hostile environment finish called PLASOX. This most modern finish offers enhanced rust prevention.

Quick Acquisition Sight System

The unique Caracal Quick Sight System (QS) allows for extremely quick target acquisition under pressure. Unlike conventional pistol sights BOTH the front and rear sights are seen in the same focal plane. This offers previously unseen speed in target acquisition .

Cocked Striker Indicator

Along with two loaded chamber indicators the Caracal has a visual and tactile cocked indicator. The end of the firing pin in its pre-cocked position can be both seen and felt.

Caracal F&C

Key Lock System

The Caracal F & C are available with a unique key-lock which prevents unauthorized access to the weapon. The key is copy protected.

Fiber Optic Sight

Fast target line up in marginal and bright light conditions. Absorbs available light and magnifies it back to the users sight picture.

Full Tactical Kit

A full tactical kit is available for the Caracal F which includes a polymer shoulder-stock and forward tactical grip with built in rail. The kit offers a more stable platform for longer range shots and, when worn on a sling, presents a high visibility carbine style weapon. Shown with optional tactical light.

The Caracal has a full tactical rail which can accept aftermarket tactical accessories.

CARACAL TRAINING AND SUPPORT

Caracal offers full technical support for customers
Caracal armorers can train individuals and groups, civilian or professional, on all technical aspects of the weapon, including cleaning and long term maintenance. These courses can be carried out at an official Caracal facility or in your own country. Please contact us for course information.

Operator Training
Caracal can provide operator training for customers of our new 9mm. These courses can be held at an official Caracal facility or in your own country. Skilled Caracal staff with extensive operational experience can instruct on basic pistol handling for new operators through to operational drills for more advanced handlers.
