SurfaceStylescontroltheoveralllookandfeelofyourcomponentsbringingtogetherbothcolorandtexture.Inventor categorizestheseintoStandardfoldersandalsopermitsusercreatedcategoriesfororganization.Someoftheadvanced controlsheremodifyreflection,opacity,diffuseandbumpmapsettings. Thetoolsusedtogetandassignsurfacestylesarelocatedattheupperleftareaofthedialogbox.Thesetwoiconscontrol howsurfacestylesareobtained,modified,andthenrepaintedtoafaceorcomponent.InsidePartmode,thesecommands willworkonindividualfacesandinsideAssemblymodethesecommandswillworkonindividualcomponents. Refraction Controlstheoverallbendingoflightasitpermeatesthroughtheobject andalsoassumesalowopacitysettingforthestyle.TheRefraction Presentsareavailableinthepulldownbuttonforcommonmaterials.
