(Annamacharya Institute of Technology & Sciences at Hyderabad) of Andhra Pradesh was established in 2005, to play an important role in the development of the intellectual capital in engineering fields. The Institute is offering six Branches of Engineering namely ECE, CSE, IT, EEE, MECH and CIVIL in addition to MBA, MCA and Diploma Courses. The ECE department is started in the academic year 2006 with an annual intake of 60 students and enhance to 120 in the year 2007. A Team of dynamic, dedicated, well qualified and experienced staff are available in our department. The main aim of ECE Department is to provide better quality education required by the recent industry and train the faculty in new technologies periodically to equip themselves in the present global scenario. To organize continuing education programs for the development of students, faculty members and supporting staff. The fest is a platform for exhibiting students talent and to prove the importance of engineers in every field. For facilitating the same at our college level we have initiated a technical event with the name ADVAITHA. The word Advaita means 'one-ness', or 'not separate into two'. The term 'Advaita' is used here purely based on the meaning of this word. What is important is the idea that it is taken to represent the entire technology under one umbrella. i.e. AITH. A national symposium of this sort will facilitate a healthy exchange of information and interaction among people with different ideas. In our College we are organizing this fest for all departments including ECE, EEE, CSE&IT, CIVIL, MECH and MBA. And the specified events for each department are like Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation, Project Expo and Technical Quiz. Apart from these, we are conducting common events like Robotics, JAM, Photography and Short Films for all as combined events inviting the students from all the colleges in and around our state. As a part of advertisement in and around college, we have provided the information about all the events in the form of Presentation in the corridor, and labelled the information at the entrance, provided at the spot registration desks and Help desk.
