Please take note of the followings:1. Your discussion should include the followings:1. Briefly explain how the technology works. 2. Explain the business or technical problem the technology is designed to solve. 3. Identify the technologys limitations. Is it a complete solution? Does it create any new problems? 4. Conclude with your own groups assessment of the technologys prospects for success in the marketplace. Instructions: 1. Groups to email their three preferred technology topics to Jhoana and your professor-in-charge. 2. The deadline to indicate your technology preference is 15th February 2013. 3. Jhoana will allocate the final technology topics and assigned date for discussion to each of the groups considering their choices by 22nd February 2013. 4. The hard copy of the slides must be handed over to your professor before the presentation. 5. Each group has around 20 minutes for their presentation and 10 minutes for discussion. 6. No written report is required. B. Group Case Discussions (10%) OBJECTIVE: To apply concepts covered in class and textbook to business situations. Case analyses are a central part of this course. The cases help highlight issues in scenarios that otherwise appear quite straightforward. It is in analyzing and discussing the cases that relevant issues come to light. For each of the three case presentation sessions, each group has to come prepared with the case questions assigned in a maximum of 10 minute power point presentation of no more than five slides.

Hardcopy of the presentation slides handout should be handed over to the professor before starting the presentation. The case studies and the questions to be answered by each group and the order of presentations in each session will be uploaded one week prior to each case presentation session. Note: Though all members in a group get the same grade for their presentation, it is a good practice to rotate the group members for different case presentations and technology discussions in the class so that each group member gets an equal opportunity to hone her/his presentation skills.
