Woodruff Church of God e-Edition Newsletter March 26, 2013

Pastors Notes: This Sunday, the Christian Church will celebrate the most important day of the year. It is the day we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Christmas is important as God became flesh, born of a virgin and came to live among us. But the resurrection is the fulfillment of the plan of God. His death paid the price, but His resurrection sealed the deal!!!!! Without the resurrection, He would have been no more of a savior than you or I. But because He had power over death, He proved that He could pay the price for sin and seal the deal with overcoming death and ascending back to heaven to become our advocate and interceder. OH WHAT A SAVIOR!!!!!!! This past Sunday, we committed to INVITE someone to church. That is all most people need in order to attend churchjust an invitation. Sunday, the church will be full. People from all walks of life and all spiritual conditions will be in the building. Be friendly, be caring, be sensitive to the Spirit. Offer your seat to a guest and be willing to pray for them should the need arise. I truly believe that we will have an AWESOME opportunity Sunday to win souls to the Kingdom of God if we will just allow God to use us. Will you let Him use you?

Our music ministry, Spirit of Praise Ministries and myself, will be working together during the service to present a special message entitled Declare His Glory. The whole service will be about trying to share differing parts of HIS GLORY. You will not want to miss this.we are believing God to bring souls to the kingdom. Please invite your family, friends..most importantly, invite the lost.

SUNRISE SERVICE.. 7:30 AM on the new property. Bring a lawn chair and come as we worship the Lord early in the morning. This is not a long service and the scene is beautiful. Well meet at the 3 crosses and the rock altar!

Easter Sunday night, we will be having communion and feet washing. What a wonderful time to participate in these most spiritual events. Everyone will meet in the sanctuary at 6:00 PM. GOOD FRIDAY.. There is a group of church members and leaders who are concerned with the spiritual plight of Woodruff. They believe that it is very possible for God to transform this community, but it will happen when we come together in unity and join together in PRAYER. Some of these people have been praying already but they want to invite others who will join in and believe for transformation for our community. We have personally prayed for this for years. We used to have a banner hanging in our sanctuary that said our city. We prayed for our city and wanted God to send revival. We STILL pray for our city! Now, others are beginning to take this seriously as well. FRIDAY, MARCH 29th, beginning at 8:00 PM, there will be an all night prayer meeting in the Woodruff Community Center located on Main St., Woodruff. You are given a personal invitation to join with others and intercede for our community. I hope to see you there!

I want to thank each of you that attended our REKINDLE Revival services. I know that Spring brings a lot of options for people to attend, but many of you came and never missed a service. I am grateful for people with a hunger and passion for God. We had some wonderful services. Rev. Chris Jarrard did a wonderful job of bringing the Word of God. I believe they were timely words for us and helped us focus on the mission at hand and encouraged us to continue moving where God is already moving. I believe the spirit of revival is with us. We must simply allow that to grow and become all that Gods wants and desires for us. The services may have ended, but our DESIRE & DETERMINATION to have the move of God has not. We will continue to press and push until we see something happen. IM HUNGRY FOR MORE OF HIM!!!!!
