KNOw how
GoodPlanet Solidaire gives the opportunity to companies engaged in a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach; to local authorities and individual sponsors to contribute in international solidarity projects abroad or in France. In accordance with The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) our projects consist in building schools out of natural materials so as to enable children to complete a full course of primary schooling. In June 2012, the Foundation inaugurated the first Moroccan bioclimatic school in the High Atlas Mountains, and is currently developing new insulation techniques and enhancing sophisticated construction know-how. These projects are positive and meaningful for all: individual sponsors as employees.

ReFeRENCES
From March 2010 to December 2012, GoodPlanet Solidaire has successfully developed an international solidarity programme on behalf of a multinational company within 6 countries. It aimed at strengthening schooling efforts in favour of disadvantaged children living in precarious conditions. Since January 2013, GoodPlanet has expanded its action in southern countries with the building of local materials eco-constructions. The Foundation is also looking forward in minimising environmental impact of its projects and ensures that energy efficient programmes are being developed.

TAX INFORMATION
The GoodPlanet Foundation is an organization recognized by the French government as a Public Interest Foundation on June 3rd, 2009, and its status was duly published in the Journal Officiel de la Rpublique Franaise (June 5th, 2009). Thus, all companies sponsoring it benefit from a tax reduction of 60% of the amount donated, up to 0.5% of their gross turnover. If the amount donated is superior to this amount, the surplus can be deferred over five years, enabling the company to benefit from the tax reduction over that period, under the same conditions. Thus, strictly speaking, your contribution in this instance, up to the amount of 50,000 euros, for example, will entitle you to an overall tax reduction in the amount of 30,000 euros.

Article 238bis of the French Tax Code (Code Gnral des Impts, or CGI) stipulates that donations entitle companies to a tax reduction equal to 60% of the amount paid out, up to the total amount of 0.5% of said companys annual gross turnover. Source: French Ministry of Health, Youth and Sports
