ASSIGENMENT-2 Desire to move towards a sustainable eco city to optimize the quality of life for its community Sri Lankan Government is encouraging the innovation of Green Architecture and Technology for newly proposed High Rise Buildings. Developing the Colombo City in an environmentally sustainable manner may include identifying the existing building stock which can be adapted (Renovations ,Alterations ,Modifications) to match the new environment,, demolition of undesirable building stock and construction of new buildings with Buildbilty and Sustainable development concepts..
