ASSIGENMENT-2 Desire to move towards a sustainable eco city to optimize the quality of life for its community Sri Lankan Government is encouraging the innovation of Green Architecture and Technology for newly proposed High Rise Buildings. Developing the Colombo City in an environmentally sustainable manner may include identifying the existing building stock which can be adapted (Renovations ,Alterations ,Modifications) to match the new environment,, demolition of undesirable building stock and construction of new buildings with Buildbilty and Sustainable development concepts.. Tasks 1. Define the Buildbilty Principal and explain the implication of .Buildbility concept in new buildings proposed to be constructed in Colombo city.(P.3.1) 2 ).Explain the advantages and disadvantages of employing billability in terms of health and safety,efficincey economy and quality of said construction projects(P3.2) 3.
