1. Tellstudentsthattheyaregoingtosee12passivepictures.Tellthemthat
theyhavetoguesswhattheyaregoingtoseebycompletingthePicture
PredictionWorksheet.
2. Letstudentscomparetheiranswersbutdonottellthemwhethertheyare
rightorwrongatthisstage.
3. Tellstudentsthatyoulied(likePinocchio!).Tellthemthattheyarenot
goingtosee12picturesbuttheyaregoingtodrawthemthemselves.
4. Showstudentsthe12FlashCardsoneatatime.Drillthelanguageon
eachcard.
5. Putthe12cardstext-sides-uponatableoronthefloor.Askstudents
standup,walkovertothecardsandchoosesomethingthattheyfeel
comfortabledrawing.Studentsshoulddrawtheirpicturesonblanksides

worrythatsomestudentswilldomoredrawingsthanothers.Somemay
notevendrawatall.Thisisnotaproblem.
