    Lessonplan

    1. Tellstudentsthattheyaregoingtosee12passivepictures.Tellthemthat
    theyhavetoguesswhattheyaregoingtoseebycompletingthePicture
    PredictionWorksheet.

    2. Letstudentscomparetheiranswersbutdonottellthemwhethertheyare
    rightorwrongatthisstage.

    3. Tellstudentsthatyoulied(likePinocchio!).Tellthemthattheyarenot
    goingtosee12picturesbuttheyaregoingtodrawthemthemselves.

    4. Showstudentsthe12FlashCardsoneatatime.Drillthelanguageon
    eachcard.

    5. Putthe12cardstext-sides-uponatableoronthefloor.Askstudents
    standup,walkovertothecardsandchoosesomethingthattheyfeel
    comfortabledrawing.Studentsshoulddrawtheirpicturesonblanksides
    oftheFlashCards(i.e.thenon-textsides).

    6. Wheneverastudentfinishesadrawing,heorsheshouldhandittoyou
    andthenchooseanotherpicturetodraw.

    7. Continuethisprocessuntilyouhaveall12picturesinyourhand.Dont
    worrythatsomestudentswilldomoredrawingsthanothers.Somemay
    notevendrawatall.Thisisnotaproblem.

    8. Numberthedrawings1to12andstickthemrandomlyaroundthe
    classroomwalls.
