We are calling on all donor agencies, foreign Governments and
international organizations to cut off all financial aid to the dictatorial PPP
Government led by Bharrat Jagdeo.

We are also calling on the United States Government, the Canadian

Government and the U.K Government to review the visas of all
government ministers, their immediate families and those of the police and judiciary who are abusing
human rights in Guyana. It is not right for these donor countries to give aid to a government that abuses
the rights of its citizens by instituting false charges, torture, false imprisonment etc.
Most of these funds are not used for the purpose it was intended for and are squandered for the personal
benefit of the ruling politicians.

It is a criminal act on the part of these donor countries and agencies to give money or aid to a Government
that does not observe basic human rights and does not have respect for the Rule of Law.

Attached is a newspaper article of a woman who accuses the police of theft and was told by the police on
the advice of the DPP that she should take private action against the criminal elements in the police.

Why didn’t the DPP or the police advise the victims of Alim Samad to take private legal action against
Alim Samad since they have written contractual agreements with him?
Alim Samad has breached his contractual arrangements with his victims and this is a matter for Alim
Samad and his victims to settle in court as two of them have already filed private legal action against him
for all the moneys he collected from them.

What about the torture done to a man in Wakenaam, Essequibo by the police by placing him on ants nest?

Attached is a newspaper report that the DPP has dropped all charges against the bogus nursing school
head? Why this sudden development? What transpires between the Minister of Health and the attractive
nursing school head after she was charged? Why did the DPP acted so quickly in dropping the charges?
This woman is still continuing her school and it was alleged by the same Minister of Health that it was
bogus. It is no longer bogus now and you should know why. Woman’s Power?

Why each time Balwant Persaud case is being called up at the Magistrate’s Court the police are saying
that they have to wait for the DPP report? Why did the police lie and said that they got instructions from
the DPP to charge Balwant Persaud and in the court they are saying that they have to wait for the DPP
report? Who are the police and the Police Prosecutor, Denise Griffith fooling?

Balwant Persaud is an honest, hardworking Guyanese who contributed significantly to Accountancy education in
Guyana as Principal/Founder of Georgetown School of Accountancy and a pioneer in the Computer industry in
Guyana, being the Founder/Owner of Computer Training Centre. This man has never committed an offence in
his lifetime. He is known throughout Guyana as an honest and decent man. The Government, the Police and
a certain Minister just want to tarnish his good name and reputation because of the refugee cases he won for
Guyanese in Canada, notably the one with the 15 year old girl who was raped by “Big Ones” in Guyana.
