Understanding Shakespeares Characters

Open up Word and create a new document called 'Shakespeare Characters' and complete the following two tasks: TASK 1: Choose a character from your chosen play and write a speech or diary entry from their perspective. You will need to show your understanding of the characters feelings, ideas, emotions in the play. (they may be writing about another character, something that has happened or just be reflecting of their thoughts at a key moment in the play) i.e. Lady Macbeth might be writing in her diary how she plans to force Macbeth to commit evil deeds Or Juliet might be writing a diary entry after she has just married Romeo TASK 2: Choose two characters from your chosen play that have some sort of relationship (this can be positive or negative: Tybalt and Romeo or Lady Macbeth and Macbeth for example) You will need to create a modern day dialogue between them. Write it up as a play script! i.e. Romeo: I dont have any bad feeling towards you any more Tybalt Tybalt: Are you kidding me? I will never make peace with you- we will be enemies forever! Romeo: But there are reasons I cant explain to you why I think we should forget all the trouble from before and come together
