and believes and thereon alleges that each of the Doe Defendants is responsible in some

In March 2013, Defendant Brennler and Does 1-1oo, stated in a telephone

conversation with Charles Barber that Plaintiffhas been stealing money from homeless

clients at the homeless shelter and that Plaintiffhas stolen money from a homeless man named CliffAnderson. These statements are and were false.

Defendants' statements are slanderous on their face as they clearly expose

Plaintiff to hatred, contempt, ridicule and obloquy because they imply and could be
reasonably interpreted

to mean that Plaintiff had done something unlawful, dishonest or

unethical in her profession.

As a direct and proximate result of the above-described publications, plaintiff

has been injured in her business, has suffered injury to her reputation, all to her special and general damage in a sum believed to exceed fifty thousand dollars.

The above-described publications were published by Defendants with malice,

oppression and fraud in that Defendants, knowing at all times that there was absolutely no basis for these statements, that they were false and that they would injure Plaintiff in her
chosen profession, and thus Plaintiff seeks an award of punitive damages in a sum according
