Summer Grilling Tips

When grilling outside, position the grill at least 15 feet away from the building, and position the grill from sliding. Before lighting a propane gas grill burner, use a leak-detection solution to check all connections for tightness If you smell gas while cooking, immediately get away from the grill and call the fire department Never leave the grill unattended once it has been lit Keep small children and pets away when lighting charcoal grills Bamboo or wood skewers should be soaked in cool water so they wont ignite as you grill Remember to turn off the propane grill or extinguish the charcoal properly Dont smoke while operating a propane grill

Keep us Smelling Fresh!

Living in close quarters makes it easy for odors from one apartment to be smelled in another. Here are a couple tips for combating those stubborn smells, so all residents can enjoy our community. Open the windows when you cook. This may seem like common sense, but a little fresh air can make a big difference when it comes to minimizing food odors Freshly ground coffee acts as a deodorizer. Try placing a cup of grounds in the area where you need to absorb odors Boil cinnamon sticks or cloves in a pot of water on the stove and let it stand. This will create a pleasant fragrance in your apartment Remember to take your trash out often. Organic waste like banana peels and apple cores have strong odors so get them out of your apartment as soon as possible Take all trash to the dumpsters right away. Leaving trash outside the door will cause odors and attract bugs
