Soul

What is it? Do we know? We read about it and hear about it sometime, believe it or not. It is said to be eternal, never changing never getting old, Indians scripture say: Atman (soul) is Ajar (unaging) and Amar (eternal) Is that a truth? I am indeed wondering about it now!! We all are familiar with bodies, we all have one, that grows old, changes and perishes after a certain time. But we are often told that there is a soul inhabiting it, that no one can see (though some claim that they can indeed). This soul, we are told, has very different properties then what we have learned during our education and believe. For example we know, that communication between bodies is only possible, through the five senses, and it is possible, without a gadget, only over a limited distance. I have had some experiences myself, over years, very differently. I have experienced, that I can sense thoughts, feelings of persons far far away, sometimes oceans apart. In fact I wrote a science fiction story about it. I believe that souls do change, are not unchangeable. Souls can get transformed, through our actions, conscious or otherwise, may be through karma, whether in the same incarnation or different after the death of a body. I believe that the knowledge we have is not complete, the final, lot more needs to be explored to know. Realations, soulmates to be found and established. Yes, our abilities are different, and we need to learn a lot, whether through a teacher or without any teacher.
